In this invention, a high-accuracy jaw motion tracking system and method using the same are disclosed. The jaw motion tracking system of the invention mainly comprises an eyewear facebow static positioning device, a lower jaw dynamic tracking device and a stereo-vision charge-coupled device (CCD) and can provide information regarding the locations and relative movement of lower and upper jaws. The eyewear facebow static positioning device has several passive and active reflective markers. The lower jaw dynamic tracking device equips with a plural of lightweight light emitting devices. Using OpenCV-based self-developed algorithm and post-iterative compensator, the disclosed system can record the dynamical jaw movement with a high accuracy. The disclosed jaw motion tracking system and related method have minimal occlusal disturbance and provide smooth motion-tracking performance. The disclosed system can be used in clinical dentistry.

Provided are an optical tomography digital-impression imaging system and a method for use thereof, said system including: an optical coherence tomography scanner, used for obtaining tomographic slice thicknesses of a plurality of tissue areas of each optical tomography digital image; an information analysis and processing component electrically connected to the optical coherence tomography scanner. The information analysis and processing component has a refractive index compensation and optical path correction functions; by way of analysis and processing, tomographic slice thickness correction values corresponding to the tissue areas are obtained, thus establishing a digital model of the tissue areas.

Optical tomography digital impression imaging system and method for use thereof

A system for detecting bone defects includes a dental implant contacting member, at least one electromagnetic source, at least one first magnetic field detecting device, at least one second magnetic field detecting device and a computing device. The dental implant contacting member has a magnetic body. The electromagnetic source is used to generate a variable magnetic field to vibrate the magnetic body. The first magnetic field detecting device is used to detect a magnetic field of the magnetic body and the variable magnetic field, so as to generate first detected data. The second magnetic field detecting device is used to detect the variable magnetic field, so as to generate second detected data. The computing device is used to obtain vibration data based on the difference between the first detected data and the second detected data.

System and method for detecting bone defects

A non-contact apparatus and method detect irregular bone defects around a dental implant. Structural resonance frequency is produced and received to recognize a quality, a direction and a depth of an irregular bone defect. Thus, an interfacial osseointegration can be evaluated, and the present invention is of great help to assess osseointegration and diagnosis interfacial bone defects after the dental surgery.
