A positioning system and a method thereof are provided. In the positioning method, a first and a second pose information of a moving device are obtained by a first positioning device and a second positioning device respectively, wherein the first pose information corresponds to the second pose information. In addition, a plurality of first candidacy pose information is generated in an error range of the first pose information. Furthermore, a plurality of second candidacy pose information is generated according to the first pose information respectively. One of the second candidacy pose information having a smallest error derived from the second pose information is selected for updating the pose information of the first positioning device and parameter information of the second positioning device. Thereby, pose information of the moving device is updated and parameter information of the second orientation devices is calibrated simultaneously.

Positioning system and method thereof

A leakage detection apparatus and method for a multi-channel inkjet cartridge. The leakage detection apparatus includes a plurality of electrodes and a controller. Each of the electrodes is disposed in one of channels of the inkjet cartridge respectively, and contacts a reagent in the corresponding channel. The controller is coupled to the electrodes, and detects leakage between channels.

Leakage detection apparatus and method for multi-channel inkjet cartridge

An inkjet dispensing apparatus. The inkjet dispensing apparatus includes a cartridge, a chip, and a sensor controller. The cartridge includes a first channel and a second channel. The first channel has a first kind of liquid therein, and the second channel has a second kind of liquid therein. The chip is disposed on the cartridge, and includes a first conductor and a second conductor. The first conductor is in contact with the first kind of liquid, and the second conductor is in contact with the second kind of liquid. The sensor controller is coupled to the first conductor and the second conductor to detect leakage between the first channel and the second channel.

Inkjet dispensing apparatus

An inkjet cartridge for dispensing a predetermined amount of reagents is provided. The inkjet cartridge comprises an inkjet print head and an array of capillary tubes. The print head is provided with a plurality of channels. The capillary tubes, filled with predetermined reagents, are disposed on the inkjet print head so as to communicate with the channels respectively and provide capillarity sufficient to prevent the reagents in the capillary tubes from leaking through the channels but not so great as to prevent the reagents in the capillary tubes from dispensing through the channels.

Multi-reagent inkjet cartridge

An apparatus and method for introducing micro-volume liquid. The method includes the following steps. A multi-channel inkjet print head is provided. The multi-channel inkjet print head includes a nozzle plate and a cartridge. The nozzle plate includes a plurality of nozzles. The cartridge includes a plurality of channels, communicating with the nozzles on the nozzle plate, and a plurality of openings located at the channels. The nozzle plate contacts with a buffer. The buffer is introduced into the channels via the nozzles on the nozzle plate by pressure. Reagents are introduced into the channels through the openings.

Apparatus and method for introducing micro-volume liquid

A method and apparatus for manufacturing biochips. The apparatus includes a conveying device and a series of dispensers positioned at a series of dispensing positions above the conveying device. At least one substrate is disposed on the conveying device, and the conveying device successively moves each substrate below the series of dispensers. Each of the dispensers has a plurality of nozzles facing the substrate. Each of the nozzles dispenses a predetermined reagent onto the substrate; a plurality of reagents is dispensed on the substrate at each dispensing position.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing biochip

A porous back-shooting inkjet print head module is disclosed. The ink permeates through the porous ink supply layer into an ink chamber in contact with the outside by an injection hole, and the porous ink supply layer prevents the ink from flowing back. Therefore, the ink chamber is sealed very well and more pressure could be generated. The invention can thus be used for inks with high viscosities. It does not need a precision alignment process as in the prior art. This does not only increase the efficiency and yield of production, but also reduces the cost.

Porous back-shooting inkjet print head module and method for manufacturing the same

A micro-dispenser for dispensing predetermined amounts of fluids under the control of a controller. The micro-dispenser comprises a base and a high-density array of tube assemblies. The base, having a plurality of holes, is electrically connected to the controller. The tube assemblies, pre-filled with predetermined fluids, are detachably disposed in the holes and separately electrically connected to the base. The tube assemblies dispense the fluids through the base under the control of the controller. The tube assemblies are replaceable.

Micro-dispenser for biochemical analysis

A pressure control device for an inkjet pen. The inkjet pen is provided with a reservoir having a first opening and maintaining a back pressure established therein. The pressure control device comprises a bag, a pressure plate, an isolation member, a bias member, and an elastic member. The bag, disposed inside the reservoir, communicates with outside the reservoir so as to expand inside the reservoir. The pressure plate is disposed inside the reservoir and adjacent to the bag so as to move inside the reservoir. The bias member is disposed inside the reservoir and adjacent to the pressure plate, the isolation member, and the reservoir respectively such that the bag expands to move the pressure plate when the back pressure inside the reservoir changes, then the pressure plate moves the bias member so that the isolation member separates from the first opening.

Pressure control device for an inkjet pen

A common print head module that can accommodate either a single-color or multi-color inkjet print head comprises an ink cartridge having an ink output, and an inkjet chip arranged over the ink output. The ink cartridge internally includes ink channels that terminate through a surface of the ink output, wherein two adjacent ink channels are spaced apart by a channel wall. The channel wall has a top surface lower than the surface of the ink output where the ink channels terminate. The ink channels communicate with ink slots of the inkjet chip. When accommodating a single-color print head, the ink flows out through the ink channels over the channel wall. When accommodating a multi-color print head, the ink slots of the inkjet chip have slot walls that are sealed with the channel walls such that inks of different colors can be separately ejected through the ink slots.

Inkjet print head

The ink cartridge is provided with a pressure controller to regulate the inner pressure therein by atmospheric pressure while the ink stored in the ink cartridge is gradually drained off. The ink is stored in a container with negative pressure therein, and at least one through hole formed on the container is used to connect to the atmosphere, and at least one recess is formed on the inner wall of the through hole. The pressure controller has a plug movably disposed on the through hole and the recesses. The recesses are used as a channel to allow the entrance of the atmospheric air, and the plug can be automatically moved so as to enlarge the clearance between the plug and the through hole while the ink stored in the ink cartridge is gradually drained off. The inputted air can effectively reduce the negative pressure in the container, and therefore the printing process of the ink cartridge can be proceeding steadily.

Pressure controller for an ink cartridge

A multi-color level inkjet head chip structure includes a pre-mixing space. The pre-mixing space communicates with different ink storage spaces through a plurality of providing elements, then the volume of different colored inks is controlled by the ink providing elements to be injected into the pre-mixing space. The desired color level ink is created in the pre-mixing space in advance. Finally, the desired color level pre-mixed ink is ejected onto the recording media (such as paper or other similar material) through an inkjet printing driver at the pre-mixing space. Therefore, the desired color level can be produced by only one inkjet printing at any printing area, which will be extremely beneficial for increasing the speed of inkjet printing.

Multi-color level inkjet head chip structure

The present invention is an ink pressure adjustment device of inkjet pen; the device is utilized to adjust negative pressure in an ink cartridge mainly through an expandable and shrinkable gasbag installed in the ink cartridge, and a tension valve attached on the surface of the gasbag. The tension valve can open or close automatically an air hole that communicates atmosphere and the inner part of ink cartridge via the gasbag according to the expansion and shrinkage of the gasbag, causing a part of atmosphere to enter the ink cartridge so as to adjust the negative pressure of the ink cartridge and not only can prevent ink from leaking but also prevent the negative pressure from being too large to fail the inkjet printing.

Ink pressure adjustment device for inkjet pen

A back-shooting inkjet print head. The inkjet print head comprises: a first substrate having a plurality of thermal resistors formed on a back surface thereof, and a plurality of orifices formed through the first substrate and respectively located proximate to the resistors; an isolation layer having a plurality of ink channels formed therein, wherein the isolation layer is arranged onto the back surface of the first substrate such that the region of each ink channel covers that of one of the resistors and one of the orifices; and a second substrate having an ink supply window, wherein the second substrate is arranged on the isolation layer covering the ink channels, such that the ink supply window, connected to the ink channels, is located at one side of the resistors while the orifices of the first substrate are located at the other side of the resistors and face the second substrate.

Back-shooting inkjet print head

The ink cartridge of the present invention uses a directional fibrous collection enclosed within a bushing to temporally retain the ink therein, wherein at least one controlled capillary portion is provided. The controlled capillary portion can be formed by the bushing or by a predetermined shape located in the cartridge. The capillary forces of the controlled capillary portion are stronger than the one of other portion of the directional fibrous collection. The flow rate of the ink can be precisely controlled by the directional fibrous collection, and the controlled capillary portion can efficiently drain out the ink to the printhead and there is no bubble left therein.
