A method for producing a carbon particle by a detonation method includes two steps. The first step is a step of disposing an explosive substance in the periphery of a raw material substance. The explosive substance has a detonation velocity of 6,300 m/s or more. The raw material substance contains an aromatic compound having not more than 2 nitro groups. The second step is a step of allowing the explosive substance to detonate.

A production method of a carbon particle by a detonation method includes a step of disposing an explosive substance in a periphery of a raw material substance, and a step of subjecting the explosive substance to a detonation. A resin production apparatus of the present invention includes: a reactor vessel having a vessel main body which polymerizes an ingredient to produce a thermoplastic synthetic resin which solidifies at room temperature and storing the synthetic resin in the molten state, an output mechanism disposed at a bottom part of the vessel main body, which outputs the synthetic resin in the molten state, and a temperature adjustment mechanism which adjusts temperatures of the vessel main body and the output mechanism so as to maintain the molten state of the synthetic resin; a cooling mechanism arranged below the reactor vessel, which continuously cools and solidifies the synthetic resin output from the output mechanism; and a crushing mechanism which crushes the synthetic resin fed out from the cooling mechanism.

A blast treatment method capable of performing blast treatment of a treatment subject with a simple structure, with high efficiency, and at low cost, while inhibiting scattering of harmful substances or the like to the outside. To achieve it, the method includes an installing step of installing two or more articles to be treated at a certain spacing in the pressure vessel, an initial blasting step of blasting one of the articles to be treated, and a following blasting step of blasting the article to be treated next to the previously blasted article to be treated after a particular time from the instant of the previous blast. Each of the articles is blasted sequentially through the initial and following blasting steps.

It may be employed that the number of calender rolls is four and that the roll arrangement is in the reverse L shape. Solid type pressure-sensitive adhesive composition and pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets using the same

An epoxy optical sheet comprising a hardened sheet of an epoxy resin and another resin layer formed on one side thereof. The sheet has a retardation of 5 nm or less, an average thickness of 500 &mgr;m or less, a thickness accuracy of &plusmn;10% or less, a glass transition temperature of 170&deg; C. or above, and a smooth surface. The epoxy optical sheet is made by a continuous process which comprises: successively forming a strippable resin layer on a support having a smooth surface; successively spreading an epoxy resin coating solution comprising an epoxy resin, a hardener, a hardening accelerator, and a leveling agent, on the resin layer in the form of a sheet; followed by a hardening treatment, thereby forming a hardened sheet adhering to the resin layer; and, at the same time, recovering the hardened sheet together with the resin layer from the support.
