A component supply device of the disclosure includes: a loader being capable of accommodating a plurality of stick cases in a stacked state, each of the plurality of stick cases being capable of accommodating a plurality of electronic components, each of the plurality of stick cases having an opening in an end portion in a longitudinal direction; a component transporting path transporting one or more electronic components supplied from the plurality of stick cases to a predetermined component supply position; and a component information storage being capable of storing component information of stick cases. A plurality of electronic components of same lot are accommodated in the plurality of stick cases, and the component information storage stores component information of a stick case read from one of the plurality of stick cases, as the component information of each of the plurality of stick cases.

Component supply device, component mounting system, and component mounting method

A component supply device of the disclosure includes: a loader being capable of accommodating a plurality of stick cases in a stacked state, each of the plurality of stick cases being capable of accommodating a plurality of electronic components, each of the plurality of stick cases having an opening in an end portion in a longitudinal direction; a component transporter moving one or more electronic components supplied from the plurality of stick cases to a predetermined component supply position; and a stick case detector detecting presence or absence of one or more stick cases in the loader.

A substrate conveyance mechanism that includes conveyance units and a working area length change part to easily change the types of substrates to allow substrates of different lengths to be selected to mount electronic components onto the substrate. The conveyance units include a working area for substrates having different length that are conveyed from a stand-by area, an area length of the working area that is variable in accordance with the length of the substrate, and a stand-by unit corresponding to a stand-by area for the substrate to be carried in to the working area. The working area length change part changes an interval between a commonly used first pulley and one of a plurality of second pulleys selectively used in accordance with the area length of the working area by changing a belt winding path of a conveyance belt wound on the pulleys in the working unit.

Substrate conveyance mechanism and component mounting method

A substrate conveyance mechanism includes conveyance units and a clamp mechanism. The conveyance units include a working unit corresponding to a working area for types of substrates having different sizes of length taken as objects, an area length of the working area being variable in accordance with the sizes of length, and a stand-by unit corresponding to a stand-by area for the substrate to be carried-in to the working area. The clamp members include commonly used first clamp members and second clamp members which are attachable and detachable and are selectively used in accordance with the sizes of length of the plurality of types of substrates in addition to the first clamp members.

Substrate conveyance mechanism and component mounting device

In an electronic component feeding apparatus for feeding components with use of a taping component, a brushless motor is used as a drive motor in a tape sending mechanism that transports the taping component so as to improve productivity in an electronic component mounting apparatus equipped with the electronic component feeding apparatus. Also, an electronic component feeding apparatus is provided with a control part that automatically executes initial processing such as sending of the taping component, as well as detects and reports a sending failure of the taping component when the electronic component feeding apparatus is installed in the electronic component mounting apparatus, which makes it possible to provide an electronic component feeding apparatus enabling easy and prompt detection of the sending failure of the taping component.

Component feeding method and device

An electronic component feeder capable of stably feeding electronic components in a process for transferring a tape accommodating the electronic components, peeling off a top tape and extracting the electronic components. The feeder includes a peel portion for peeling off a top tape and for contacting a tape transfer surface through a carrier tape, a window portion for extracting the electronic components, a tape press body slidably supported in a pressing direction of the carrier tape on the tape transfer surface, and an urging member for urging the tape press body against the tape transfer surface.

Electronic component feeder

A component supply apparatus for sequentially supplying components to a predetermined position by separating a covering tape from an accommodating tape. The components are accommodated in the accommodating tape at predetermined intervals along a longitudinal direction of the tape. The components are covered with the covering tape. The apparatus includes a reel around which the separated covering tape is wound. The reel includes a reel body having a winding barrel removably mounted on a driving shaft and a guide flange positioned at one end of the driving shaft and a guide flange positioned at one end of the driving shaft. An inelastic auxiliary ring is provided so as to wind the covering tape about the peripheral surface thereof. The ring includes a rotation preventing portion and is removably mounted on a peripheral surface of the winding barrel.

Component supply apparatus

A component supply apparatus includes a component feeding device for feeding components to a component feeding path, with the components arranged in a row while the components are being agitated by air, and a path forming member having a curved path extending from the component feeding path to a component supply position, for guiding the components fed from the component feeding path to the component supply position by changing a direction of each of the components by a predetermined angle. A plurality of air supply holes are provided at plural portions of the curved path for feeding the components fed to the curved path to the component supply position.
