Provided is 3-ply tissue paper suitable for performing “tissue off” and excellent in softness and smoothness. In the 3-ply tissue paper containing an aqueous moisturizer, a paper thickness for three plies is 176 to 230 μm, an arithmetic mean roughness Sa is 0.007 to 0.020 mm, and a compression work is 1.70 to 2.40 gf·cm/cmand a compression recovery rate is 46.0 to 54.5% for four sets of three plies, twelve plies in total.

To provide a toilet paper that provides an excellent thick feeling, has excellent water-disintegrability, has sufficient softness, provides a security feeling to a human body during use, and is environmentally friendly. The problem is solved by a 3-ply or 4-ply toilet paper having a basis weight of 10.5 to 16.5 g/mper ply, containing softwood-derived pulp in an amount of 80% by mass or more of fibers, containing a cationic fatty acid amide-based softener, and having a disintegration freeness of 550 cc or more.

Provided is a moisturized tissue excellent in strength and snot wiping property. In the moisturized tissue paper, a paper thickness is 220 to 330 &#x3bc;m, a basis weight is 15 to 18 g/mper ply, a proportion of NBKP in the pulp combination is more than 70 mass %, a chemical solution content is 26 to 32 mass %, an arithmetic mean curvature at a peak point of an outer surface in an unpressurized state (Spc (1)) is 4.0 to 4.8 (1/mm), and a developed area ratio at an interface on the outer surface (Sdr) is 0.020 to 0.030 (&#x2212;).

To provide tissue paper with an excellent 'moist texture' and high 'smooth texture.' 2-ply tissue paper is characterized by the basis weight per ply being less than 13 g/m, the 2-ply paper thickness being less than 135 &#x3bc;m, and containing above 1.4 g/mand less than 4.9 g/mof chemical agent which contains glycerin and 1,3-propanediol in a total amount of 83 mass % or more, wherein the mass ratio of glycerin and 1,3-propanediol is above 1:0.18 and less than 1:5.11.

The present invention is directed to a two-ply tissue paper including a polyol-containing moisturizer and having excellent softness, smoothness, and strength. In various embodiment, the two-ply tissue paper of the present invention has a basis weight of 16.0 to 25.0 g/mper ply, a two-ply paper thickness of 145 to 180 &#x3bc;m, a dry tensile strength of 120 to 200 cN/25 mm in a lateral direction, a dry tensile strength of 275 to 450 cN/25 mm in a longitudinal direction, a wet tensile strength of 60 to 130 cN/25 mm in the lateral direction, a difference of 40 cN/25 mm or more between the dry tensile strength in the lateral direction and the wet tensile strength in the lateral direction and a value of (wet tensile strength in lateral direction)/(dry tensile strength in lateral direction) of 0.60 to 0.75, and an elongation percentage of 13.0 to 18.0% in the longitudinal direction.

In one or more embodiments, the present invention is directed to a moisturizing tissue paper having excellent softness, smoothness, and strength. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a two-ply tissue paper containing a moisturizing agent having a basis weight per ply of 16.6 to 17.9 g/m, a two-ply paper thickness of 143 to 159 &#x3bc;m, and containing a polyol, hyaluronic acid, a fatty acid ester-based compound, and a fatty acid amide-based compound.

[Problem] To provide tissue paper excellent in 'moistness' and 'smoothness'. [Solution] The problem can be solved by tissue paper being two-ply tissue paper, in which a basis weight per one ply is greater than 12.9 g/mand less than 16.8 g/m, a paper thickness in the two-ply state is not less than 128 &#x3bc;m nor more than 150 &#x3bc;m, and a chemical agent containing glycerin and 1,3-propanediol in a total amount of 83.7 mass % or more and having a mass ratio between glycerin and 1,3-propanediol of greater than 1:0.14 and less than 1:6.64, is contained in an amount of greater than 2.3 g/mand less than 6.1 g/m.

An all-purpose type tissue paper. A two-ply tissue paper that does not have moisturizer applied thereon, that has a basis weight per ply of 10.0-16.0 g/m2, a paper thickness per two-ply of 120-200 &#x3bc;m, a softness of not more than 1.0, a dry tensile strength (T) in the MD direction of 240-300 cN/25 mm, and an average dynamic friction coefficient of 1.40-1.65.

A pocket tissue includes a stack of paper tissues each of which is folded at a plurality of fold portions and a film package that contains the stack, the pocket tissue allowing the paper tissues to be taken out from a dispense opening formed in an upper surface of the package. Each of the paper tissues includes a first fold portion located at a position that substantially bisects the paper tissue, a second fold portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the paper tissue folded at the first fold portion, and a third fold portion extending in a transverse direction of the paper tissue folded at the second fold portion. The stack is formed by stacking the paper tissues each of which has been folded at the third fold portion to be in a state in which the first fold portion is exposed to the outside.
