A communication device comprises a connector to which a communication line is to be connected for sending and receiving a control signal concerning charge control between a transportation apparatus and a charging apparatus, a modem outputting a modulated signal obtained by modulating information to be sent and demodulating the modulated signal input, and a first internal communication line and a second internal communication line each being connected to the connector and the modem, the first internal communication line and the second internal communication line respectively being for sending the modulated signal and being for receiving the modulated signal, and sends and receives the modulated signal by superposing the modulated signal on the control signal. The modem outputs a beacon signal for communication, and comprises a branch line branched at an intermediate location of the second internal communication line, a wave detector circuit that detects the beacon signal transmitted to the branch line by way of the first internal communication line, the connector and the second internal communication line, and a diagnosis unit that performs a fault diagnosis of its own device based on a signal obtained through detection by the wave detector circuit.

Communication device, charge communication system, transportation apparatus and fault diagnosis method

Provided is a vehicle port device that includes a lid () that selectively closes an opening () of a port accommodating space facing outwardly on a vehicle body, a first display unit () positioned in the port accommodating space, and a second display unit () configured to indicate a failure in the port module and positioned in the port accommodating space. The lid includes a translucent part (A) opposing the first display unit and an opaque part (B) opposing the second display unit in a closed state of the lid.

Vehicle port device

A vehicle includes a cover, a front protector, and a rear protector. The cover has a cover lowest portion projecting from the bottom of the vehicle body toward an outside of the vehicle by a first distance. The front protector is provided on a front side of the cover in a front-rear direction. The front protector has a front protector lowest portion projecting from the bottom of the vehicle body toward the outside of the vehicle a second distance longer than the first distance. The rear protector is provided on a rear side of the cover in the front-rear direction. The cover is provided between the front protector and the rear protector in the front-rear direction. Vehicle and protector structure

A non-contact charging system includes a charging device and a mobile object. The charging device includes a transmitter. The transmitter is provided at a predetermined position in a charging area and has a power transmission surface to transmit electric power using a magnetic field. The mobile object includes a receiver. The receiver is provided in the mobile object and has a power reception surface to receive the electric power from the charging device through the transmitter. The power transmission surface faces the power reception surface when the mobile object enters the charging area. At least one of the power transmission surface and the power reception surface is tilted relative to ground in the charging area in a longitudinal direction of the mobile object.
