Mounting structure of tank

A system for controlling a gas supply unit supplying gas to a tank includes a pressure acquisition unit configured to acquire the pressure in the tank; and a controller configured to perform first filling for supplying the gas to the tank and to perform second filling, based on a flow rate determined based on a change in the pressure in the tank for a predetermined period of time during the first filling, by controlling the gas supply unit. The controller is configured to cause the gas supply unit to perform the first filling at a first flow rate in a case where the pressure in the tank prior to the first filling is a first pressure and perform the first filling at a second flow rate exceeding the first flow rate in a case where the pressure is a second pressure exceeding the first pressure.

System for controlling gas supply unit

A valve device for a gas tank, includes a body and a check valve provided in an injection passage to inject gas into the gas tank. The check valve includes a valve seat, a case fixed in the injection passage while a space is provided between an inner peripheral surface of the injection passage and the case to enable gas to flow through the space, and a valve element accommodated in the case. The case includes a cylindrical portion, and is configured such that the bottom of the cylindrical portion, provided at an opposite side to the valve seat, defines a range where the valve element is axially movable. The valve element includes a head portion that can block a valve hole of the valve seat, and a sliding portion formed to be axially movable with respect to the cylindrical portion.

Valve device

A valve device includes: a body including a gas passage through which gas flows and an accommodation recess that communicates with the gas passage; a valve mechanism that controls flow of the gas flowing through the gas passage; and a cover fixed to the body such that the cover covers the accommodation recess. In the valve device, the cover includes a cover recess that opens toward the accommodation recess, and the valve mechanism is assembled to the body such that the valve mechanism is accommodated in the accommodation recess with a portion of the valve mechanism protruding from the accommodation recess and the portion of the valve mechanism is accommodated in the cover recess.

A valve device includes a body in which a gas flow passage is provided; and a check valve provided in the gas flow passage, the check valve including a poppet and a valve seat. The poppet excluding a block portion is in a form of a hollow shaft, the block portion being located at a distal end of the poppet and having a taper shape, and the poppet has at least one side hole that provides communication between an inside and an outside of a portion of the poppet, the portion being in the form of the hollow shaft. The at least one side hole extends obliquely with respect to a central axis line of the poppet such that the at least one side hole extends along a gas flow direction inclined with respect to a direction in which the poppet moves when the check valve opens.

Safety valve

A throttle valve includes a throttle valve element; a support member that supports the throttle valve element, the support member including a valve element support portion, and a shaft portion that is connected to the valve element support portion, the shaft portion having a gas passage and an inlet port; a mounting member that mounts the support member in a throttle valve flow passage; a filter that is disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion to cover the inlet port, in a space whose axial length is defined by the shaft portion and the mounting member; and gaskets that are respectively disposed between one axial end of the filter and the mounting member and between the other axial end of the filter and the shaft portion.

Throttle valve

A valve device includes a body, a solenoid valve accommodated in an accommodation hole of the body, and a joint member fixed to the body. The solenoid valve includes: a sleeve having a tubular shape and fitted in the accommodation hole, and including an introduction passage and a delivery passage; and a valve element configured to open and close the passages. A U-seal is disposed between an outer wall surface of the sleeve and an inner wall surface of the accommodation hole. The body has an attachment hole that is located downstream of the delivery passage of the sleeve and opens on an outer surface of the body. The joint member including a backflow reduction valve is fixed to the attachment hole.

The valve unit includes: a body having a charging passage; a supply-side joint that connects a supply pipe; and a check valve that is disposed in the gas passage, and that inhibits gas from being discharged from the gas tank to the outside of the body. The check valve includes a check valve seat, a check valve element that comes into contact with or moves away from the check valve seat, and a positioning member that fixes the position of the check valve seat in the charging passage. The body has a fitting hole which is communicated with the charging passage and in which the supply-side joint and the positioning member are fitted. The positioning member is fitted in a second fitting hole so as to fix the position of the check valve seat even when the supply-side joint has not been fitted in a first fitting hole.

Valve unit comprising a check valve device

A second protective member () is provided to cover a thin wall portion and its periphery of a second tank head section (), so as to protect the thin wall portion. The thin wall portion is a region of the second tank head section () in which a reinforcing layer () has a smaller wall thickness. The second protective member () has a double layer structure including an inner layer made of polyurethane and an outer layer made of a material mixture of polyurethane and expanded graphite. This structure suppresses the mass and the volume of a pressure vessel from being increased by the presence of a protective layer.

Pressure vessel and production method thereof

A fuel cell system () includes a pressure decrease valve () and a flow control valve () provided in a hydrogen supply line (P) that extends from a high pressure gas tank () to a fuel cell (). A low temperature environment may cause the function of these devices to decrease. Therefore, if the gas temperature inside the high pressure gas tank () is higher than the temperature of this low temperature environment and is a temperature at which the decreased function can be recovered, high pressure gas inside the tank is made to flow through the hydrogen supply line (P) to expose the pressure decrease valve () and the like to the relatively high temperature gas before a start signal that starts the system is received.

High pressure gas supply system and fuel cell system

The objective is to enable the formation of an outer circumferential layer by a filament winding process to be performed appropriately, and to achieve the weight reduction of a gas tank by reducing the weight of a mouthpiece. The gas tank comprises a mouthpiece attached to an end of a tank main body in its axis direction, and an outer circumferential layer formed over an outer circumferential surface of the tank main body and an outer circumferential surface of the mouthpiece by a filament winding process. On the end of the tank main body in the axis direction, a recess section, in which an outside end surface of the mouthpiece is embedded in the inner side from an outside end surface of the outer circumferential layer, is formed.

Gas tank and manufacturing method of gas tank

A tank holding mechanism holds a gas tank that has a cylindrical portion and hemispherical-shaped domical portions formed on respective sides of the cylindrical portion. The tank holding mechanism includes: a tank accommodating portion that contacts a peripheral wall of the cylindrical portion of the gas tank; tank end-side members provided near respective ends of the gas tank; a tank band that pushes the gas tank against the tank accommodating portion; and band securing portions that secure end portions of the tank band to the respective tank end-side members. The tank band is routed from one of the domical portions through the cylindrical portion to the other domical portion. The tank band extends along a diagonal line of the gas tank over an outer face of the cylindrical portion, conforms to the outer face of the cylindrical portion, and conforms to hemispherical outer faces of both of the domical portions.

Tank holding mechanism for gas tank and vehicle in which gas tank is mounted using the same

A gas charging apparatus includes a gas supply source; a fuel gas charging line L connected to the gas supply source, to charge a fuel gas into gas tanks, respectively; a temperature information acquiring section which acquires temperature information in the gas tanks; a pressure information acquiring section which acquires pressure information in the gas tanks; a relation data acquiring section which acquires correspondence relation data indicating a correspondence relation between a temperature and a pressure in the corresponding gas tank; a temperature difference calculating section which calculates a temperature difference between the gas tank having the highest internal temperature and the gas tank having the lowest internal temperature among the plurality of gas tanks; and a control section which performs control so as to stop the charging of the fuel gas.
