To provide a rotational position detecting device in which a rotational position detection error caused by variation in distance between a sensor magnet and a magnetic sensor is reduced, the rotational position detecting device includes a sensor magnet () configured to generate a magnetic flux; a holder (), which is configured to hold the sensor magnet, and has a pressure-contact portion () to be fixed to a shaft () of a motor (); and a magnetic sensor () configured to detect the magnetic flux generated by the sensor magnet, the magnetic sensor being directly or indirectly fixed to the motor, and being arranged away from the sensor magnet in an axial direction of the shaft, the shaft having an abutment portion () configured to receive a distal end portion () of the pressure-contact portion.

Rotational position detection device

In the rotary electric machine according to the present invention, a plurality of core sheets include linked core sheets that include linking portions that protrude circumferentially from flange portions so as to link together tip portions of adjacent tooth portions, at least one sheet of the linked core sheets is formed such that a tooth tip portion shape is mirror-asymmetrical relative to a tooth central axis that passes through a circumferential center of the tooth portions, and a stator core is configured by laminating the linked core sheets such that circumferential positions of the linking portions are offset.

Rotary electric machine and electric power steering apparatus

A front iron core includes a first iron core main body and a plurality of first projecting sections which project to a radial outer side from the first iron core main body. A second iron core includes a second iron core main body which overlaps with the first iron core main body and a plurality of second projecting sections which project to a radial outer side from the second iron core main body. When a rotor iron core is viewed along the axis line, portions of the second projecting sections protrude as extension sections to outward in the circumferential direction, from the first projecting sections. Furthermore, when the rotor iron core is viewed along the axis line, radial-direction outer side end surfaces of the extension parts are smoothly continuous with radial-direction outer side end surfaces of the first projecting sections.

Rotor and motor of rotating electrical device

Provided is an electric motor including a permanent magnet rotor and two sets of multi-phase windings serving as coil windings of a stator. The coil windings are wound around teeth by concentrated winding. The multi-phase windings of one of the two sets are wound around every other tooth by skipping one tooth in between. The multi-phase windings of another of the two sets are wound around the teeth skipped by the multi-phase windings of the one set. Adjacent coil windings of the two sets are wound in the same direction. A control unit configured to supply power to the coil windings includes control circuits independent of each other to provide one control circuit for each of the two sets of coil windings, and the control unit controls the control circuits with two sets of control signals having a phase difference of 150 degrees.

Electric motor

A rotor core of a rotor includes: a plurality of protrusions formed on at least a step-skew boundary side; and a tubular non-magnetic ring mounted on outer peripheries of a plurality of permanent magnets so as to cover the boundary. The non-magnetic ring includes a plurality of inner diameter bulging portions. Each of the permanent magnets and each of the protrusions are brought into abutment against the corresponding inner diameter bulging portions.

Rotor

In a permanent magnet motor, projections each include a second projecting portion and a first projecting portion separated away from a side surface of a permanent magnet. When the first projecting portion has a total length L1 in an axial line direction and a height t1, and when the second projecting portion has a total length L2 in the axial line direction and a height t2, (L1&#xd7;t1)&#x3e;(L2&#xd7;t2) is satisfied. As a result, the permanent magnet motor capable of reducing vibration noise of the motor by reducing irregular rotation, reducing decrease in motor torque, and further reducing increase in motor physical size can be obtained.
