Provided is an aluminum alloy diecast that can be unlikely to crack at a part to be press-fitted while the proof stress of a main body part is being secured, and can eliminate the need for heat treatment to the main body part at the time of production. The aluminum alloy diecast () includes a part to be press-fitted () into which a joining member () is press-fitted and a main body part () in which the part to be press-fitted () is integrally formed, in which an average hardness of the part to be press-fitted () is lower than an average hardness of the main body part () or an average roundness of crystals other than a primary crystal of Al in the part to be press-fitted () is larger than an average roundness of crystals other than a primary crystal of Al in the main body part ().

Aluminum alloy diecast, diecast unit and method for producing same

A manufacturing method for joined bodies that allows galvanic corrosion to be reduced is provided. The method is for manufacturing a joined body obtained by joining together a mating member made of ferrous metal and a non-ferrous metal material. The method includes: a press fit step of press-fitting a joining element made of ferrous metal into a predetermined surface of the non-ferrous metal material; and a welding step of forming a melted portion between an exposed portion of the joining element press-fitted into the non-ferrous metal material and the mating member. After the press fit step, a part of the joining element is exposed from the predetermined surface and the remaining part of the joining element is not exposed and is buried in the non-ferrous metal material. The remaining part of the joining element includes a lodging portion having a surface facing to the predetermined surface.

By determining an amount of a metal to be prepared into a slurry in its liquid state, thereafter applying a motion to the melted metal via a mechanical or physical means when at least a part of the melted metal reaches a temperature below the liquidus temperature and cooling the melted metal in a slurry preparing container to prepare the melted metal into a metal slurry in a semi-solid state, and by concurrently making the semi-solid metal slurry in the slurry preparing container with a shape to be kept almost unchanged, and feeding the semi-solid metal slurry in a state wherein the shape is nearly kept as it is into the shot sleeve/prechamber of the part making machine, a semi-solid metal slurry with the non-dendritic (spherical) primary crystal particles being fine and almost uniform can be fed into the part making machine, with no need of any specifically complex process but with a simple system and plain equipment. Thus, a shaped part with high quality can be produced.

The device includes a cavity defined by a fixed die and a movable die; a plunger disposed in a runner connected to the cavity in such a manner as to be movable to and from a gate of the cavity; a molten metal inlet formed midway in the runner; wherein molten metal supplied from the molten metal inlet in the cavity is pressurized by the advance of the plunger. Die casting device

This invention provides a die casting method comprising the steps of that a pulverized insulation agent is coated to form a porous insulation layer on the interior surface of die cavity when a casting products are made by utilizing a die casting machine, wherein a molten metal is filled into the cavity with a slow pace thereon, a high pressure is applied upon the molten metal mechanically so as to crush and make thin the porous insulation layer pressed by the high pressurization upon the molten metal, simultaneously the molten metal sinks into and passes through the porous insulation layer to reach at the interior surface of the cavity wherein the molten metal is rapidly solidified to produce a final casting products according to the temperature drop due to the direct contact with the interior surface of the cavity. By providing the porous insulation layer in the interior surface, the molten metal is well spread on the nook and corner of die cavities during the restriction of solidification speed, thereby can prevent the occurrences of pine hole or blowhole upon the casting product. Further by selecting a lubrication type insulation agent, it can facilitate the removal of casting product from the cavity wherein has no further use for any conventional type mold-releasing agent deemed as a pollutive material.

Die casting method

Molten metal is prevented from cooling too quickly when supplied to an injection sleeve of a casting device by applying a heat insulating powder onto an inner surface of the injection sleeve between each supply of molten metal. The heat insulating powder can be applied to the inner surface of the injection sleeve by way of an electrostatic field created between an electrode which has been inserted into the injection sleeve and the injection sleeve itself.
