A vehicle body rear structure includes a floor pan, a subframe, an impact absorbing memberprovided behind the subframe, a bracketfor detachably attaching the impact absorbing member, and an extension memberprovided to face a rear end portionof the impact absorbing member. The impact absorbing memberhas a first extending portionalong a lower surfaceof the floor panand a second extending portionthat extends forward with respect to the floor pan. The extension memberextends above the impact absorbing memberin the vertical direction.

Vehicle body rear structure

The tank attachment structure includes a floor panel () having a raised portion () and an opening () protruding toward a passenger compartment, a tank () disposed inside the raised portion (), a plurality of upper bands () configured to cover the tank () from above, a lower plate () connected to the upper bands (), and a pair of cross members () provided in front of and behind the tank () and extending in the vehicle width direction. The lower plate () has a width dimension greater than that of the upper bands () in a vehicle width direction and is provided by the number smaller than that of the upper bands () to cover the opening (). A front end portion () and a rear end portion () of the lower plate () are attached to the pair of cross members (), respectively.

Tank attachment structure

The vehicle body rear structure includes a floor panel, a subframewhich is provided below the floor panel, an impact absorbing memberwhich is provided behind the subframeand extends in the front-rear direction, and a bracket which detachably attaches the impact absorbing memberto a lower surface of the floor panel. The front end portionof the impact absorbing memberis disposed to be at the same height as the subframein the vertical direction and is disposed with the spacing S from the subframein the front-rear direction.
