An electric power steering device includes a motor, a motor controller, first and second power source circuits, a power source switching circuit, and a voltage detector. The power source switching circuit is configured to switch between a first state in which the motor controller receives electric power from the first power source circuit but is cut off from the second power source circuit, and a second state in which the motor controller receives electric power from the second power source circuit but is cut off from the first power source circuit. The voltage detector is configured to detect the voltage of the first power source circuit. The power source switching circuit is configured to select the second state in a case where the voltage of the first power source circuit is less than or equal to a predetermined value, and select the first state in cases other than the case.

The method is capable of allowing an inherent color of hair, a dull color of damaged hair or a color of hair dyed by coloring to look clearer or more vivid, or maintaining a clearness of the color of hair.

A rinse-off type hair cosmetic composition containing the following ingredients: (A) from 1 to 10 wt % of a higher alcohol having from 12 to 28 carbon atoms, (B) a quaternary ammonium salt represented by the following formula (1) or a tertiary amine type compound represented by the following formula (2) or salt thereof, (C) from 15 to 70 wt % of a polyhydric alcohol, and (D) from 0.01 to 10 wt % of a dimethylpolysiloxane. As a method for preventing colored hair from fading, the hair cosmetic composition is used before or after shampooing the colored hair. A hair cleansing composition contains (A) from 10 to 20 wt % of at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants; (B) from 1 to 8 wt % of a multivalent, water-soluble, inorganic salt; (C) from 0.1 to 2 wt % of a cationic polymer; and (D) from 5 to 20 wt % of a polyhydric alcohol. As a method for preventing colored hair from fading, shampooing of the colored hair is performed with the hair cleansing composition. The hair cleansing composition of the present invention inhibits the bleeding of a colorant from the colored hair through shampooing, shows good lathering and gives a smooth touch feel upon shampooing, leaves no stiff feeling after drying, and is excellent in stability.
