A cleaning tool includes: a first tape including an adhesive surface; a head around which the first tape is wrapped and that presses the adhesive surface against an object; a feeder that transports the first tape and a second tape in contact with the adhesive surface; and a separator that separates the first tape from the second tape during transportation of the first tape to the head.

A cleaning tool includes: a head; and a cleaning body wrapped around the head. The head includes: a head body; and a projection that projects from the head body. The projection is retractable relative to the head body. The head may further include an elastic member that restores a positional relationship between the projection and the head body.

A cleaning tool includes: a head including: a pressing part that presses a cleaning element against an object to be cleaned in a pressing direction, and having a first dimension in a width direction orthogonal to the pressing direction; and a neck part having a second dimension smaller than the first dimension in the width direction; and a housing that houses the head such that the pressing part and the neck part protrude from the housing in the pressing direction. A length of the housing in the width direction is equal to or greater than a length of protrusion of the pressing part protruding from the housing in the pressing direction.

An attachment cleaning tool includes: a cleaning tool; and an attachment detachably attached to the cleaning tool. The cleaning tool includes: cleaning bodies that clean connection end surfaces of ferrules of an optical connector; head members each that press the cleaning bodies against the connection end surfaces; nozzle members that respectively accommodate the head members; a feeding mechanism that supplies and withdraws the cleaning bodies with respect to the head members; and an accommodating body which accommodates the feeding mechanism. Each of the connection members of the attachment includes: an attachment portion attached to a tip portion of each of the nozzle members; and a tubular portion that protrudes from the attachment portion in a longitudinal direction of the nozzle members and into which one of the ferrules is inserted. The connection members move following a relative movement of the nozzle members in the lateral direction.

An optical connector includes: a ferrule that holds a tip of an optical fiber; a housing that houses the ferrule; a coupling that releases a latched state of the optical connector by moving to a rear side of the optical connector with respect to the housing; and a tab member that includes an operation section disposed farther toward the rear side of the optical connector than the coupling, and that causes the coupling to move to the rear side of the optical connector with respect to the housing when the operation section is pulled. The tab member is latched from the inside of the coupling.

An optical connector includes: a ferrule; a housing that houses a floating mechanism that retractably presses the ferrule; a coupling attached to an outside of the housing; and a boot attached to a rear side of a spring push of the floating mechanism. The spring push includes: a tube part; a flange section formed on an outer circumference of the tube part; a groove part formed closer to a front side of the tube part than the flange section; and a projection that protrudes outward from a portion of an outer surface of the groove part. The boot includes: a claw part that is formed on a front edge of a front opening of the boot and that hooks onto the groove part; and a recess that is formed in the front edge of the front opening of the boot and that engages with the projection.

Optical connector

An optical connector includes: a housing that retractably accommodates a ferrule; a spring that is accommodated in the housing to press the ferrule to a front side; and an engaging member connected to one end of the spring, fixed to the housing by engaging with the housing, and including a pair of arm parts arranged to sandwich the spring. When a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the spring presses the ferrule and to a direction in which the pair of arm parts is lined up is an up-down direction, window parts are arranged on both sides in the up-down direction of the housing. The engaging member includes: claw parts that are provided on an upper and a lower side of the pair of arm parts to engage with the window parts; and deformation parts that allow the claw parts to be displaced in the up-down direction.

An optical connector includes: a ferrule including a guide pin hole, a plurality of fiber holes lined up in a width direction of the optical fiber, and an inclined end face; a housing in which the ferrule is retractably housed; and an application part that applies an upward force to the ferrule in an upward/downward direction when the optical connector connects with a counterpart connector in a connecting/disconnecting direction. The upward/downward direction is a height direction of the optical connector and is orthogonal to both the connecting/disconnecting direction and the width direction. The inclined end face projects upward toward the counterpart connector.
