A steer-by-wire control device according to the present invention includes a control device that controls a first motor that operates a steering wheel of a vehicle and a second motor that controls steering operation of a wheel. Before making a transition to an automatic driving mode of the vehicle, the control device applies input torque to the steering wheel by the first motor in a forward rotation direction and a backward rotation direction of rotation directions of the first motor, acquires behavior information of the steering wheel obtained by application of the input torque, and determines whether or not to estimate a control parameter of the steering wheel based on the behavior information. The behavior information includes at least one of a value of a rotation angle of a steering wheel and a value obtained by time-differentiating a rotation angle.

The control devicecontrols the current application amount of the peak current to fall in the saturation range.

A current value of a second drive current overlaps a range of the current value of the holding current. A current value of a third driving current is equal to or more than the current value of the holding current.

Control method of high-pressure fuel supply pump and high-pressure fuel supply pump using the same

There is provided a discharge valve mechanism provided at an outlet of a pressurizing chamber of a high-pressure fuel supply pump that aims to reduce a backflow amount of fuel from a discharge valve and to prevent cavitation erosion. There are provided a discharge valve disposed on a discharge side of a pressurizing chamber, a discharge valve seat that closes a discharge side flow passage of the pressurizing chamber by seating the discharge valve, and a discharge valve spring that presses the discharge valve toward the discharge valve seat. It is configured such that, in a case where a minimum seat diameter of a seat portion in which the discharge valve is seated on the discharge valve seat is set to D and a spring force of the discharge valve spring at a time of setting is set to F, a coefficient K obtained by dividing the spring force F by the minimum seat diameter D is set to be 0.2 or more.

High-pressure fuel supply pump

A pump for supplying high-pressure includes a plunger, a cylinder, a body, and a holder. The uppermost end surface of the cylinder is an end of the cylinder that is closest to the pressurizing chamber. A first gap formed between the outer periphery of the cylinder and the body in the radial direction is smaller than a second gap formed in the radial direction between the inner diameter of the pressurizing chamber and the outer diameter of the plunger. A radial gap is formed in an entire area of the cylinder in an axial direction thereof.

Provided is a high-pressure fuel pump in which responsiveness of closing a suction valve can be maintained even when the high-pressure fuel pump is increased in pressure or capacity of the high-pressure fuel pump is increased, thereby ensuring discharge efficiency. Therefore, the high-pressure fuel pump includes the rod that urges the suction valve in the valve opening direction, the mover that drives the rod in the valve closing direction, and the solenoid that generates a magnetic attraction force for moving the mover in the valve closing direction. After the suction valve starts moving from the suction valve closing position in the valve opening direction, the rod reaches the suction valve closing position and further moves in the valve opening direction.

The fuel passage includes a gap passage portion formed in a gap between the valve seat and the valve member. High-response and high-power electromagnetically driven flow rate control valve with flange portion forming an attracting surface on an anchor, a first peripheral surface portion having a diameter smaller than the flange portion, and a cylindrical non-magnetic area opposing an outer peripheral surface of the flange portion with a third clearance interposed therebetween are provided, and a first fluid trap portion communicating with the back pressure chamber via the third clearance is provided. When the diameter of the flange portion is enlarged in order to enlarge the cross-sectional area of the attracting surface, fuel that is displaced by the anchor is increased, but is partly absorbed in the first fluid trap portion, so that the fuel passing through the fuel channel does not increase in comparison with fuel before the diameter of the flange portion is enlarged. Accordingly, the cross-sectional area of the attracting surface may be enlarged.

Electromagnetic flow rate control valve and high-pressure fuel supply pump using the same

In a high pressure fuel supply pump for transmitting rotation of a cam to a reciprocating plunger via a tappet and a retainer, a diametric force acting on the plunger is reduced. The pump includes the retainer disposed on the plunger and a return spring exerting an urging force on the retainer in a direction of the tappet. A clearance between a plunger leading end and a tappet bottom surface opposed thereto is set to be greater than a clearance between a retainer bottom surface and the tappet bottom surface opposed thereto, and a clearance between a retainer inside diameter section and a plunger peripheral surface section opposed thereto is set to be greater than a clearance between a retainer outside diameter section and a tappet inner wall opposed thereto.

High pressure fuel supply pump

A high-pressure fuel supply pump includes a discharge valve, which is a non-return valve between a pressurizing chamber and a discharge port. The discharge valve includes a valve body housing, a discharge valve spring, a valve body and a seat member. The discharge valve is a flat valve. When the valve is opened, a flow of fuel moving from the pressurizing chamber and axially colliding with the valve body is radially distributed in the radial direction of the valve body to become a flow directly moving the discharge ports and a flow colliding with an inner wall of the valve body housing before moving toward the discharge ports and then in a circumferential direction of the valve body.

An object of the present invention is to reduce the pressure loss in a relief valve employed for a high-pressure liquid supply pump. Disclosed is a high-pressure liquid supply pump for pressurizing a liquid and supplying the pressurized liquid from a low-pressure side to a high-pressure side. The pump includes a relief path which releases the pressurized liquid from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side, and a relief valve which is positioned in the relief path and equipped with an intermediate chamber, a valve seat positioned toward the high-pressure side of the intermediate chamber, a ball valve that is attachable to and detachable from the valve seat, and a ball valve retainer for pressing the ball valve against the valve seat. The relief path is configured so that an inflow path to the intermediate chamber and an outflow path from the intermediate chamber both produce a restriction effect. The ball valve retainer has a pressure reception surface for receiving the pressure from the intermediate chamber. A first pressure reception area, which detaches the ball valve from the valve seat upon receipt of liquid pressure of the pressurized liquid from a high-pressure section when the relief valve closes, is smaller than a second pressure reception area, which lifts the ball valve and the ball valve retainer upon receipt of liquid pressure from the intermediate chamber.
