In a client processing apparatus, each application program independently performs communication with a server processing apparatus in spite of relevance between the application programs. For example, when plural application programs issue a request at the same timing in correspondence with a user's operation, the operation speed of the application program may become low. A request which occurs at the same timing of a particular request outputted from an application program to the server processing apparatus is previously defined in a communication grouping table. When the application program actually outputs a request, the communication grouping table is referred to, then the request and a request in the table to occur at the same timing are transmitted at once to the server processing apparatus. The server processing apparatus processes the plural requests at once, and returns the result of processing to the client processing apparatus.

Method for communication between server processing apparatus and client processing apparatus

The present invention provides a performance monitoring method of a processing flow that, in a distributed object system, a processing is completed after going by way of processing of several objects through objects. A collector collects, as performance data, a receiving time of a message from the other object and a sending time of a message to the other for an object that becomes a measurement target on each computer. A manager puts received performance data together and calculates and displays a processing time of each object that constitutes a processing flow and a communication time between objects.

A mail flow pattern is extracted from a mail transmission audit data storage unit, and a flow definition comparison part compares the mail flow pattern with the flow definitions stored in a workflow definition storage unit. A definition registration part and an instance registration part register the mail flow pattern information as instance information of designated workflow definitions and as new workflow definitions. In accordance with predefined workflow definitions, intersectional workflow definitions and extended workflow definitions corresponding to a mail flow are selected and displayed.
