An improved adhesive sheet can exhibit an excellent anti-blister characteristic without susceptible to the property of the base material. The adhesive sheet includes a base material that is formed from a base material film and a thin film laminated onto the base material film, an adhesive layer and a release sheet. The adhesive layer contains an adhesive component and a curing component as its main composition. The curing component is of the type that is to be cured by irradiation with radiation. As for such radiation-curing type component, materials containing acrylic-based monomer or oligomer can be used. The adhesive layer has a storage modulus (dynamic modulus) in which a ratio of storage modulus G &prime;/G &prime; of the adhesive layer lies within the range of 1.2 to 50, wherein G &prime; is a storage modulus of the adhesive layer before curing at a temperature of 25&deg; C. and at a frequency of 1 Hz, and G &prime; is a storage modulus of the adhesive layer after curing at a temperature of 25&deg; C. and at a frequency of 1 Hz.

An antifouling infrared shielding film comprising a transparent substrate film having, on one face thereof, at least an infrared shielding layer which comprises a cured product of a coating layer comprising (A) an ionizing radiation curing resin, (B) an infrared absorbent and (C) an ionizing radiation curing silicone resin in an amount of 0.1 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the resin of the ionizing radiation curing resin of (A); and a process for producing an antifouling infrared shielding film comprising coating one face of a transparent substrate film with a coating agent comprising the component (A), the component (B) and the component (C) in an amount of 0.1 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the component (A) to form a coating layer and curing the formed coating layer by irradiation of an ionizing radiation. The film is a highly functional film showing excellent transparency, scratch resistance and antifouling, and having desirable properties with respect of cleaning, slipping and infrared shielding. The film can be advantageously used for attaching to window panes.

Antifouling infrared shielding film and process for producing the same

A hard coat sheet comprises a transparent base sheet, and a radiation-curing acrylate coat layer including an antibacterial agent provided on the transparent base sheet. Thus, the hard coat sheet has excellent transparency and antibacterial property together with an excellent scratch resistance property.

A hard coat sheet comprises a base sheet, and a coat layer which is provided on the base sheet and formed of a resin composition containing 0.1 to 100 parts by weight of a radiation-curing silicone resin based on 100 parts by weight of a multi-functional acrylate. Thus, the hard coat sheet has an anti-fouling property, an anti-glare property and an anti-bacterial property together with an excellent hard coat property.

A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1A is for use by sticking onto a liquid crystal cell, and it has a construction wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 is joined to one side of the base material layer 2 which is constructed with a light-polarizing sheet and a release sheet 4 stuck onto the other side from the base material layer 2 of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 is constructed as a laminate with the layers 31 and 32. An acrylic-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, for example, can be used for the pressure-sensitive adhesives from which the layers 31 and 32 are constructed, but the shear elastic modulus or the relaxation elastic modulus of the layer 32 is set lower than that of the layer 31 as a result of a difference in the composition of the pressure-sensitive adhesive, the degree of crosslinking or the amount of plasticizer added in the layers 1 and 32. The stress which is produced by contraction, for example, of the base material layer is relieved and stress concentration can be reduced. In particular, white marking and color unevenness of the liquid crystal cell can be suppressed.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet

A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises, as pressure-sensitive adhesive components thereof, an acrylic-based polymer and a silane compound having at least two alkoxysilyl groups in its molecular. The silane compound is a compound which is represented by the following general formula (I). [General Formula (I)] ##STR1## (In this general formula, 'A' is a group having a chain structure and/or a ring structure containing 1 to 12 carbon atom(s), R.sub.1 and R.sub.4 are respectively an alkyl group containing 1 to 5 carbon atom(s), and R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are respectively an alkyl group or alkoxyl group containing 1 to 5 carbon atom(s).) The amount of the silane compound to be contained is preferably 0.001 to 10 parts by weight with respect to the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of 100 parts by weight. Thus formed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition can sufficiently and effectively relieve a stress concentration which is caused by shrinkage of the base material under the high temperature and high moisture condition.

An anti-glare hard coat film having a hard coat layer which has a thickness of 0.5 to 20 .mu.m and comprises a cured product of an ultraviolet-curing resin and agglomerates of colloidal silica particles formed with an amine compound can be obtained by coating a plastic film with a hard coat material which comprises 100 parts by weight of the ultraviolet-curing resin, 1 to 30 parts by weight as silica particles of a dispersion of colloidal silica particles, and 0.05 to 5 parts by weight of the amine compound, drying the hard coat material, and curing the dried hard coat material by irradiation of ultraviolet light. The anti-glare hard coat film has excellent surface hardness and anti-glare property and provides excellent visibility when the film is used for various types of displays.

A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1A is for use by sticking onto a liquid crystal cell, and it has a construction wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 is joined to one side of the base material layer 2 which is constructed with a light-polarizing sheet and a release sheet 4 stuck onto the other side from the base material layer 2 of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3. As a main polymer for constituting the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3, an acrylic-based polymer is for example used, of which weight-average molecular weight is 600,000 to 2,000,000. Further, a plasticizer is added to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3. According to the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, the stress which is produced by contraction, for example, of the base material layer is relieved and stress concentration can be reduced. In particular, white marking and color unevenness of the liquid crystal cell can be suppressed.

A hard coat film having an easily slipping property which comprises a plastic film and a hard coating layer of 1 to 15 .mu.m thickness made from an ultraviolet curable resin on the plastic film, wherein the hard coating layer contains particles of a high molecular weight polyester resin dispersed therein and the surface of the hard coating layer is provided with 3 to 200 protrusions of a diameter of 0.05 to 3 .mu.m and a height of 0.01 to 2 .mu.m per 100 .mu.m.sup.2 of the surface, and a process for producing the hard coat film. The hard coat film has a low haze value, a good transparency, an excellent resistance to scratch, a low kinematic friction coefficient, and an excellent slipping property both between coated surfaces and between a coated surface and a surface having no treatment.
