A partition plate includes a material that blocks transmission of light and partitions an internal space of an enclosure into a light-projecting space where a light projector is disposed and a light-receiving space where a light receiver is disposed. A light shielding plate is configured by a material that blocks transmission of light, is provided between a light-projecting deflector, which is a portion of a deflecting mirror used for light projection, and a light-receiving deflector, which is a portion of the deflecting mirror used for light reception, and integrally rotates with the deflecting mirror. Further, the partition plate has, with respect to at least a part of a peripheral portion of the light shielding plate, an overlap portion where a plate surface of the partition plate and a plate surface of the light shielding plate overlap without being in contact with each other.

Lidar apparatus

A light detection module projects a light beam to scan the light beam in a scanning direction, and receives a light beam arriving from a scanning region of the light beam. The light detection module is arranged such that a scanning center indicative of a center of the scanning of the light beam is located to be different from a window center of an optical window in the scanning direction. The optical window has a target surface that is one of the outer side surface and the inner side surface. The target surface has a cross-section along a scanning surface of the transmitted light beam. The scanning surface is defined by the scanning direction of the transmitted light beam and the transmission direction of the light beam from the light detection module. The cross-section of the target surface is shaped to be asymmetrical about the window center.

Lidar device

A light irradiation apparatus includes an optical window, a light source and an irradiation unit. The optical window is formed of a light-transmissive material. The light source is configured to emit irradiation light with linear polarization. The irradiation unit is configured to irradiate the irradiation light emitted from the light source toward a preset irradiation range through the optical window. Moreover, the optical window has a shape such that the reflectivity of the irradiation light within a specified range is lower than or equal to a preset upper limit; the specified range is provided within the irradiation range.

Light irradiation apparatus and laser radar apparatus

A scanner has a rotational axis and reflection surfaces. The scanner rotates the reflection surfaces about the rotational axis. The reflection surfaces are parallel to a direction of the rotational axis. The scanner changes a direction of each of the light beams transmitted from the phototransmitter and incident on the scanner to thereby output changed light beams in a main scanning direction that is orthogonal to the direction of the rotational axis. The scanner reflects light beams arriving from a target object based on reflection of the changed light beams to thereby cause the light beams to be directed toward the receiver. The first and second light sources are arranged such that the optical axis of at least one of the light beams transmitted from the first and second light sources is obliquely inclined with respect to a reference plane that is orthogonal to the rotational axis.

Lidar device, cruise assist system, and vehicle

An optical distance measuring apparatus is provided. The optical distance measuring apparatus includes a housing and multiple light projection and light reception portions. The housing includes an opening face. The multiple light projection and light reception portions emit light, and receive the light after the light is reflected. The multiple light projection and light reception portions are accommodated in the housing. The light is provided by laser light. By combining optical paths of the multiple light projection and light reception portions, a view angle of the optical distance measuring apparatus is widened compared with a view angle of one of the multiple light projection and light reception portions. The optical paths of the multiple light projection and light reception portions overlap with one another in the opening face when seen from a direction perpendicular to a direction along which the view angle of the optical distance measuring apparatus is widened.
