A contents data reproducing apparatus that continuously reproduces pieces of music without producing a soundless state between music pieces is provided. When a pickup finishes reading of reproducing object piece of audio data, a microcomputer stops writing of the audio data into a storage unit and makes the pickup move to a front of the next reproducing object piece of audio data to start reading of the next reproducing piece of audio data. Then, when a result in a level detection unit shows that the level of the next reproducing object piece of audio data is higher than the reference level, then, writing of the next reproducing object piece of audio data, which is read by the pickup into the storage unit is started. An audio data conversion unit reads the audio data stored in the storage unit and reproduces it.

There is provided an optical disk reproducing apparatus comprising a pickup component for detecting digital audio data from an optical disk, a storing component for temporarily storing the digital audio data detected by the pickup component, an input component for inputting the reproducing direction and reproducing speed of the digital audio data, a control component for controlling reading and writing so as to control the reading direction and reading speed of the digital audio data stored on the storing component based on the reproducing direction and reproducing speed inputted from the input component, and a signal processing component for converting the digital audio data read from the storing component into an analog audio signal and outputting the analog signal, wherein the storing component is for storing the digital audio data before and after the digital audio data to be read by the control component.

Optical disc reproducing apparatus

An optical disc reproducing apparatus which is useful and can preliminarily read and edit audio data to be reproduced and output the edited data is provided. The optical disc reproducing apparatus comprising: reproducing means for reproducing recording data of an optical disc; storing means for storing the recording data reproduced from the optical disc; input means for inputting an address of the recording data stored in the storing means; output means of at least one system for outputting the recording data stored in the storing means; and control means for controlling so as to read the recording data from a start address inputted by the input means and output the read data from the output means.
