A hygroscopic moisture separating and heating apparatus () comprises a main body container () having a cylindrical shape, a partition plate () provided to define a space together with an inner circumferential face of the main body container () and configured to divide the internal space of the main body container () into a lower temperature area () and a higher temperature area (), a steam inlet () provided to the lower temperature area () of the main body container (), a steam outlet () provided to the higher temperature area () of the main body container (), a hygroscopic moisture separator () located in the lower temperature area () of the main body container (), and a U-shaped pipe () through which heated steam for heating the steam to be heated is fed. The U-shaped pipe includes an advancing part (), a retracting part (), and a U-shaped part () connecting the advancing part () with the retracting part (). Either of the advancing part () and the retracting part () of the U-shaped pipe () extends through the partition plate across the lower temperature area () and the higher temperature area ().

Moisture separation heater

A steam condenser which condenses steam exhausted from a steam turbine. Heat transfer tubes are arrayed below the steam turbine inside the container. Cooling medium flows inside the heat transfer tubes. The heat transfer tubes extend horizontally, and include at least two upper heat transfer tube groups and at least two lower heat transfer tube groups arranged with a gap between each other. Each heat transfer tube group is constituted by arraying heat transfer tubes like a grid. At a lower part between the lower heat transfer tube groups, a baffle plate which obstructs flow of steam extends horizontally. Between the upper and lower heat transfer tube groups, inter-tube-group inundation prevention plates extend horizontally. In each heat transfer tube group, an enclosure part extends to guide gas from the enclosure part to outside of the container through a gas extraction duct.

Steam condenser

Vertical sectional shapes of portions in which condenser tubes of the upper tube bundleand the lower tube bundleare arranged, in vertical sections of the upper tube bundleand the lower tube bundle, are formed to be approximately U-shapes, and a noncondensing air ejection ductis provided to be positioned on a central joint portion of the U-shape of the upper tube portionin an upstream side where circulating water flows first. At a portion in which the condenser tubes are not arranged between the upper and lower tube bundles, steam flow prevention platesare provided to be positioned at both right and left sides of the noncondensing air ejection duct

Condenser

A feed water heater has a longitudinally cylindrical body comprising a cylindrical shell portion constituting a main body portion of a feed water heater and a water box-shaped chamber operatively connected to the cylindrical shell portion and partitioned by a tubesheet. In the cylindrical shell portion, a heat exchanger tube bank is arranged and supported by a plurality of support plates, a drain cooling section is disposed in association with the heat exchanger tube bank for carrying out a heat recovery of a drain generated in the heat exchanger tube bank, a dilution condensing chamber is provided for the heat exchanger tube bank and adapted to excessively flow the steam into the heat exchanger tube bank, and a non-condensable gas chamber is provided for the heat exchanger tube bank. The drain cooling section, the dilution condensing chamber and the non-condensable gas chamber are arranged axially in this order in the cylindrical shell from the tube sheet.

Feed water heater

A condenser with built-in deaerator comprises a main casing into which steam discharged from a turbine, a tube bank installed inside the main casing to condense the steam from the turbine, a hot well installed in the main casing to store steam condensate produced by the tube bank, a circulator for taking the steam condensate out from the hot well and returning the same again to the hot well, a gas injector having gas injecting heads, for injecting bubbles of an inert gas into the steam condensate stored in the hot well, and a water heater for heating the steam condensate in the vicinity of the gas injecting heads to increase the temperature of the steam condensate.
