A triaxial gear-typed hinge assembly includes a first axle, a second axle, a third axle, a first supporting component, a second supporting component, a first linking component and a second linking component. The first supporting component includes a first gear hinged to the first axle. The second supporting component includes a second gear hinged to the second axle. The first linking component includes a first linking gear and a first tube connected to the first linking gear. The first linking gear is hinged to the third axle and engaged with the first gear, and the first tube is hinged to the second axle. The second linking component includes a second linking gear and a second tube connected to the second linking gear. The second linking gear is hinged to the third axle and engaged with the second gear, and the second tube is hinged to the first axle.

Triaxial gear-typed hinge assembly and related electronic device

A sliding hinge has two sliding assemblies mounted on a cover of an electronic device, two pivoting assemblies mounted on a base of the electronic device and two retractable connecting assemblies. An end of one retractable connecting assembly is connected to the end of the other retractable connecting assembly. Another end of each retractable connecting assembly is pivotally connected to a corresponding sliding assembly and a corresponding pivoting assembly. The two retractable connecting assemblies of the sliding hinge provide sufficient resilient force to push and hold the cover of the electronic device, especially a large-sized electronic device, at the closed or open position.

A hinge is mounted between a cover and a base of an electronic device and has a first actuating unit, a pivoting limit and a second actuating unit. The first actuating unit has two tops. The pivoting limit is mounted pivotally between the stops. The second actuating unit selectively abuts a first side and a second side of the pivoting limit. When the second actuating unit abuts one of the sides of the pivoting limit to pivot the pivoting limit, one of the sides of the pivoting limit abuts one of the stops to limit the rotating angle. With the pivot of the pivoting limit, the rotating angle is increased. Therefore, the cover of the electronic device is fully rotatable by 180 degrees in either direction, and the hinge still provides limiting function to protect inner wires.

Hinge and an electronic device with the same

A hinge assembly is used in a notebook computer and has a rotating bracket, cover panel, stationary bracket, limiting assembly and indicator ring. The notebook computer has a display and a base. The display is rotatably mounted pivotally upon the base. The rotating bracket is attached to the display and has a keyed shaft. The cover panel is mounted around the rotating bracket, is attached to a top surface of the base and has a gap. The stationary bracket is mounted rotatably around the keyed shaft and is mounted securely on the base. The limiting assembly is mounted on the stationary bracket and allows the keyed shaft to rotate 360&#xb0;. The indicator ring is mounted on the limiting assembly and has two indicators. The indicators show up in the gap when the display is rotated to a rotational limitation to indicate direction of allowed rotation.

Hinge assembly

A hinge assembly is used in a notebook computer and has a combination bracket, a keyed shaft, a stationary bracket, a limiting assembly and a pressing assembly. The notebook computer has a monitor panel and a base. The monitor panel is mounted horizontally pivotally upon the base. The combination bracket is attached to the monitor panel. The keyed shaft is attached securely to the combination bracket. The stationary bracket is mounted rotatably around the keyed shaft and is mounted securely on the base. The limiting assembly is mounted rotatably on the stationary bracket, is connected to the keyed shaft and allows the keyed shaft to rotate 360&#xb0;. The pressing assembly is mounted around the keyed shaft below the stationary bracket to provide friction. Consequently, the hinge assembly allows the monitor to rotate 360&#xb0; relative the base.

A hinge for a notebook extension pad is mounted in an expansion pad of a notebook and has a pivoting assembly, a positioning disk, a limiting stationary leaf, a limiting disk, a pressing assembly and a locking assembly. The expansion pad has a mounting segment and a pad. The pivoting assembly is mounted securely on the pad and has a shaft. The positioning disk is mounted around the shaft. The limiting stationary leaf is adjacent to the positioning disk, is mounted rotatably around the shaft and connects with the mounting segment. The limiting disk limits movement of the pad relative to the mounting segment. The pressing assembly provides friction against movement to the hinge. The locking assembly is mounted around the shaft and selectively holds the pad at an angle allowing the pad to be used to display the notebook for presentations or achieving a comfortable typing angle.

Hinge for a notebook extension pad

The present invention relates to a cover latch for an electronic device and includes a body, a latch bar, an actuator and a driver. The driver is connected to the cover body, the actuator and the latch bar. Only one hand is required to unlatch the cover latch by rotating the actuator and the driver that moves the latch bar.

The limiting disk limits movement of the pad relative to the mounting segment. The pressing assembly provides friction against movement of the hinge. The locking assembly is mounted around the shaft and allows a user to lock the pad at a designed angle to achieve a comfortable height and angle for operating the notebook.
