Provided is a curable resin composition which can be molded by casting to obtain composite materials each composed of a polycarbonate resin and an acrylic resin and having high transparency and high impact strength. More specifically, provided is a curing resin composition comprising an acrylic monomer having a saturated group, a polycarbonate resin having an unsaturated-group-containing terminal structure at a molecular end, and a free-radical polymerization initiator.

The present application addresses the problem of providing a new method for producing a polycarbonate resin having excellent properties. This problem has been solved by providing a method for producing a polycarbonate resin containing a constituent unit derived from an aromatic dihydroxy compound represented by formula (1). The method includes polymerizing the aromatic dihydroxy compound represented by formula (1). During the polymerization, a raw material substance is used in which the concentration of compounds represented by formula (2), which are impurities, is 80 ppm or less relative to the total weight of the aromatic dihydroxy compound represented by formula (1) and the compounds represented by formula (2). (In formula (1) and formula (2), Rto R, X, a, b, m and n are as described in the description of the present application.)

A terminally modified polycarbonate resin that has ultraviolet absorbing capability is provided. More specifically, the terminally modified polycarbonate resin has a structure represented by general formula (A) and a constituent unit that is derived from a dihydric phenol. (In general formula (A), Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms; Rrepresents an alkylene group having 1-6 carbon atoms; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; and * represents the bonding position to the main chain of the polycarbonate resin.)

The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a polycarbonate resin which has a narrow molecular weight distribution and in which the formation of low molecular weight oligomers is suppressed; and a method for producing the polycarbonate resin. According to the present invention, provided are a polycarbonate resin containing a structural unit represented by general formula (1), wherein the molecular weight distribution value (Mw/Mn) is 6.0 or less, and the content of oligomers having a molecular weight of less than 1,000 is suppressed to 0.50 mass % or less; and a method for producing the polycarbonate. (In general formula (1), Rrepresent hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, a C1-9 alkyl group, a C6-12 aryl group, a C1-5 alkoxy group, a C2-5 alkenyl group, or a C7-17 aralkyl group). 

Polycarbonate resin and method for producing same

A sheet formed from carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin with high heat resistance, and a production method of said sheet is provided. This sheet is formed from a carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin that contains carbon fibers, dichloromethane, and a thermoplastic resin containing at least one of a polycarbonate resin and a polyarylate resin. The aforementioned at least one of a polycarbonate resin and a polyarylate resin has a constituent unit derived from a dihydric phenol represented by formula (1), and the content of the dichloromethane contained in the sheet is 10-10,000 ppm by mass. (In formula (1), R-Rindependently represent a hydrogen, a halogen, a nitro, or a methyl group; X represents a divalent group represented by any of formulas (2) to (4).)

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polycarbonate resin which has high fluidity and with which mold fouling such as mold deposits, etc., can be reduced. The polycarbonate resin according to the present invention has a terminal structure represented by general formula (1), and a viscosity-average molecular weight of 10,000-18,000, wherein the contained amount of low-molecular-weight carbonate compounds having a molecular weight of 1,000 or less contained in the polycarbonate resin is less than 1 mass %.
