Described herein, are personal care compositions comprising taurine in combination with arginine and glycine, and methods for using the compositions to effect reduction of skin irritation and or inflammation, and/or improving barrier repair of the skin.

Personal care composition comprising taurine, arginine, glycine

Personal care compositions and methods for treating one or more dry skin conditions are disclosed. The composition may include a carrier, one or more plant oils, and a source of. The one or more plant oils and the source ofmay each be present in an effective amount to increase natural moisturizing factors in skin when applied thereto. The method for treating the one or more dry skin conditions may include contacting the personal care composition with skin. Contacting the personal care composition with the skin may increase an amount of natural moisturizing factors in the skin and/or increase an amount of Caspase-14 in the skin.

Personal care compositions and methods for the same

Described herein, are personal care compositions comprising a surfactant system; an amino acid, e.g. taurine; and a deposition aid comprising a PVM/MA copolymer having a M.W. of from about 30,000 to about 1,000,000, or a vinylimidazolium vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer. Cleansing compositions

Personal care composition

Prodrug formulations of insulin and insulin analogs are provided wherein the insulin peptide has been modified by an amide bond linkage of a dipeptide prodrug element. The prodrugs disclosed herein have extended half lives of at least 10 hours, and more typically greater than 2 hours, 20 hours and less than 70 hours, and are converted to the active form at physiological conditions through a non-enzymatic reaction driven by chemical instability.
