The present invention relates to an article containing a base material and a low-reflection film formed on a surface of the base material, in which the low-reflection film contains a first layer, a second layer and a third layer in this order from the base material side, and the first layer, the second layer and the third layer have refractive indexes n1, n2 and n3, respectively, which meet the relationship of n1&#x3e;n3&#x3e;n2.
