A money handling apparatus capable of appropriately performing operation on handling of money depending on presence or absence of cooperation between the money handling apparatus and an external apparatus. The money handling apparatus includes a transport unit that transports money, an attachment unit that allows a cassette for storing money to be attached and detached, and a control unit that performs predetermined handling on money. When performing the predetermined handling, the control unit alternatively selects a destination of transport of money to be transported by the transport unit from between the cassette and a place other than the cassette, based on a cooperation status between the money handling apparatus and the external apparatus.

A coin feeding device (for example, feeding unit) includes: a diskhaving a plurality of protrusionsat a surface, the diskdisposed so as to be rotatable in a tilted state and configured to catch coins by the protrusionsto move the coins upward while rotating; a coverconfigured to form a space for storing a coin between the coverand the surface of the disk; a guideconfigured to guide a peripheral edge of a coin such that a part of the coin having been caught by each protrusionand moved upward protrudes from the disk; and a taking-out unit (for example, taking-out mechanism) configured to grip only one coin protruding from the disk, remove the coin from the disk, and discharge the coin to outside of the disk

Coin feeding device

A sheet handling apparatus includes: a transport path along which a sheet is transported; a first transport member disposed on one side of the transport path; and a second transport member disposed opposed to the first transport member with the transport path interposed therebetween. The first transport member and the second transport member are driven to rotate. The sheet is transported by the first transport member rotating with an outer peripheral surface thereof being in contact with a first face of the sheet, and by the second transport member rotating in a direction opposite to a rotation direction of the first transport member, with an outer peripheral surface thereof being in contact with a second face of the sheet different from the first face.

Sheet handling apparatus

A coin handling apparatus includes: a first transport path configured to transport coins; a feeding unit configured to feed out the coins one by one to the first transport path; a recognition unit configured to recognize the coins fed out to the first transport path by the feeding unit; a storage unit arranged beneath the recognition unit, the storage unit being configured to receive the coins recognized by the recognition unit from the first transport path, and store the coins therein; and a cassette detachably mounted to the coin handling apparatus and arranged beneath the recognition unit and above the storage unit, the cassette being configured to receive the coins from the first transport path and store the coins therein.

Coin handling apparatus

A coin feeding apparatus comprising: a disk that includes a plurality of protrusions on a surface of the disk, is disposed to be inclined and rotatable, and, when rotating, causes a first coin or a second coin to be caught on and carried upward by the plurality of protrusions, the second coin having a diameter greater than that of the first coin; a cover that forms, between the cover and a surface of the disk, a space for storing a coin therein; and a separation unit that separates one coin out of two of the first coins from the plurality of protrusions so as to cause the one coin to fall into the space, the two first coins being caught on the plurality of protrusions side by side.

Coin feeding apparatus and money handling apparatus

In a coin depositing and dispensing machine, a plurality of storing and feeding apparatusesdisposed below a deposited-coin transport unitare arranged vertically on plural levels. A transport direction in which a coin is transported by the deposited-coin transport unit and a feeding direction in which a coin is fed out from each storing and feeding unit are substantially perpendicular to each other.
