A reflector antenna device includes: a primary radiator to radiate a first radio wave in a first frequency band and a second radio wave in a second frequency band lower in frequency than the first frequency band; and a reflector having a reflection face reflecting the first radio wave and the second radio wave radiated by the primary radiator, in which the reflection face of the reflector has a first region including a center point of the reflection face and a second region that is an outer peripheral region of the first region and is provided with a plurality of recesses, and each of the plurality of recesses is configured to allow entrance of the first radio wave, restrict entrance of the second radio wave, and reflect the first radio wave having entered the recess on a bottom face of the recess.

Reflector antenna device

An antenna device includes a main reflector (), a sub-reflector () including sub-reflector panels and having a reflecting surface facing a reflecting surface of the main reflector, and a primary emitter () to receive a radio wave reflected by the sub-reflector (). Each of sub-reflector panel drive mechanisms coupled to the sub-reflector panels is finely driven. A phase calculator () calculates a relative phase of an element electric-field vector corresponding to each of the sub-reflector panels based on a change in received electric-field strength of the radio wave received by the primary emitter () during driving of the sub-reflector panel drive mechanisms, and determines positions of the sub-reflector panels at which a phase distribution on an aperture surface of the main reflector () is minimized.

Antenna device and antenna adjustment method

A dielectric substrate is provided between a first waveguide member and a second waveguide member. The second waveguide member includes a plurality of slots for radiating a horizontally polarized wave. The dielectric substrate is provided with a plurality of line-shaped conductors arranged obliquely with respect to the waveguide axial direction and waveguide wall conductors as waveguide wall surfaces, and includes conductor-removed portions that function as vertically-polarized-wave radiation slot parallel to the waveguide axial direction. The waveguide wall conductors are connected by vias.

Waveguide slot array antenna

Calibration is performed such that phase references of element antennas match, without radiating radio waves from all element antennas at the same time. A plurality of element antennas are divided into element antenna groups, and operating element antenna sets, each including at least two element antenna groups including a measured element antenna group, are set to an operating state in order by a phase adjustment controller. The phase adjustment controller includes: an element-electric-field calculation circuit that uses a plurality of received power levels of radio waves radiated with different phases by changing the phases of element antennas and that calculates in-set phase differences, in an operating element antenna set, among element electric field vectors generated by the element antennas the phases of which are changed; and a phase-difference calculator that uses element electric field vectors of the element antennas for which the element electric field vectors are calculated by using a plurality of different operating element antenna sets and that calculates phase differences among the element electric field vectors of the element antennas included in the different operating element antenna sets.

A circularly polarized wave generator includes a rectangular hollow waveguide (), a plurality of first protrusions () that are provided on one pair of opposing wall surfaces in the waveguide (), have longitudinal directions orthogonal to an axial direction of the waveguide (), and are arranged at intervals along the axial direction, and a plurality of second protrusions () that are provided between the first protrusions () on the wall surfaces and are arranged with longitudinal directions thereof running along the axial direction.

An antenna feed circuit includes: a first hybrid circuit having a reference phase second terminal and 90&#xb0; lagging phase third terminal; second hybrid circuit having a first terminal connecting to first hybrid circuit second terminal, reference phase second terminal, and 90&#xb0; lagging phase third terminal; a first polarization converter/second polarization converter pair outputting at second hybrid circuit second terminal phase; third polarization converter/fourth polarization converter pair outputting at second hybrid circuit third terminal phase; third hybrid circuit having a first terminal connecting to first hybrid circuit third terminal, reference phase second terminal, and 90&#xb0; lagging phase third terminal; fifth polarization converter/sixth polarization converter pair outputting at third hybrid circuit third terminal phase; and seventh polarization converter/eighth polarization converter pair outputting at third hybrid circuit second terminal phase rotated by 180&#xb0;.

Antenna power supply circuit

A polarization coupler includes: connector waveguide that connects circular waveguide with quadrangular waveguide arranged in an axial direction of circular waveguide and having short side shorter than an inner diameter of circular waveguide; flat conductor wall formed over connector and circular waveguides, and dividing the inside of connector and circular waveguides arranged parallel to an extending direction of long side of quadrangular waveguide; first inclined surface formed on inner wall of connector waveguide at a position facing one surface of conductor wall, and inclined toward conductor wall as coming closer to quadrangular waveguide; second inclined surface formed on the inner wall of connector waveguide at a position facing the other surface of conductor wall, and inclined toward conductor wall as coming closer to quadrangular waveguide; and coupling hole, formed in circular waveguide, for extracting one polarization-divided by conductor wall out of electromagnetic waves propagated through circular waveguide.

Polarization coupler

An antenna device including: a reflector antenna including a primary radiator, a feed waveguide for feeding radio waves to the primary radiator, and a reflector; and a radome that covers the reflector antenna, in which the antenna device further includes a sidelobe reduction member attached to a vicinity of the primary radiator or the feed waveguide, the sidelobe reduction member reducing a sidelobe in a specific direction of an antenna by at least one of scattering and absorbing of radio waves reflected by the radome out of the radio waves radiated from the reflector antenna. Therefore, it is possible to reduce a sidelobe deterioration caused by reflection waves from the radome.

Antenna device

Radome equipment that includes an antenna device, and a radome that protects the antenna device by housing the antenna device therein and that transmits electric power necessary for communication, in which: a matching layer made of a single-layer dielectric is attached to an inner surface of the radome; and the matching layer has a thickness that is set to a value that minimizes reflection based on an impedance estimated from an interface between the matching layer and the radome before the matching layer of the radome is attached, a characteristic impedance of a medium of the matching layer, a wavelength in the matching layer, and a characteristic impedance of a medium of a space in which the radome is disposed.
