Provided is a die lip opening/closing device capable of preventing wear and damage on an actuator of a pusher. According to the present invention, there is provided a die lip opening/closing device, the device including an opening/closing structure configured to open and close a die lip of a T-die in response to a linear motion of a pusher, and an actuator configured to actuate the pusher to move linearly, wherein the pusher includes a plurality of sub-pushers disposed along a longitudinal direction of the die lip, and the actuator is provided for each of the sub-pushers.

The lithium secondary battery of the present invention satisfies at least one requirement selected from the group consisting of requirements (i) and (ii). Lithium secondary battery

A molding apparatus provided with a transfer capable of transferring a heavy-weight mold clamping device. The molding apparatus that molds a molded product, includes: a mold clamping device clamping a parison extruded from an extruder to obtain a molded body, a transfer rail to support the mold clamping device in a transferable manner, and an electric cylinder to transfer the mold clamping device along the transfer rail. Molding device and system for producing molded article

A flow battery according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a first liquid containing dissolved therein a charge mediator and a discharge mediator; a first electrode immersed in the first liquid; and a first active material immersed in the first liquid. The equilibrium potential of the charge mediator is lower than the equilibrium potential of the first active material, and the equilibrium potential of the discharge mediator is higher than the equilibrium potential of the first active material.

In a flow battery according to one aspect of the present disclosure, a first liquid does not include an undesired compound. The flow battery satisfies requirement (i), (ii), (iii) or (iv). (i) An anode active materialincludes graphite, and the first liquid has an equilibrium potential of not more than 0.15 V vs. Li/Li. (ii) An anode active material includes aluminum, and the first liquid has an equilibrium potential of not more than 0.18 V vs. Li/Li. (iii) An anode active material includes tin, and the first liquid has an equilibrium potential of not more than 0.25 V vs. Li/Li. (iv) An anode active material includes silicon, and the first liquid has an equilibrium potential of not more than 0.25 V vs. Li/Li.

The flow battery in an aspect of the present disclosure includes a first liquid containing a lithium ion and a first redox material, a first electrode in contact with the first liquid, a second electrode functioning as a counter electrode of the first electrode, an isolation unit that isolates the first electrode and the second electrode from each other, a first chamber, and a first circulation mechanism for circulating the first liquid between the first electrode and the first chamber, and in the flow battery, the first liquid is non-aqueous and the first circulation mechanism includes a magnetically driven pump.

Provided is a mold clamping device that can simplify the component count or structure by including a mold thickness adjustment mechanism that reduces the load on a power source, is easily maintained, and has high design flexibility. Also provided is a mold clamping device that can set a long distance (daylight) between molds without having to upsize the entire mold clamping device and can simplify the component count or structure. A mold clamping device for split molds includes a first platen, a second platen, a pressure receiving platen, and a mold thickness adjustment mechanism disposed on the pressure receiving platen. At least one of the first platen and the second platen is able to move back and forth so as to approach or depart from the other. The mold thickness adjustment mechanism includes a rod-shaped rotation member, a power source configured to rotate the rotation member around a rotation axis of the rotation member, the rotation axis being parallel to a longitudinal direction of the rotation member, and a pair of converters configured to convert rotation direction of the rotation member into a movement direction of the second platen. A mold clamping device for split molds includes polygonal first and second platens, a pressure receiving platen, and a toggle mechanism. At least one of the first platen and the second platen is able to move back and forth so as to approach or depart from the other. The pressure receiving platen is located on a side remote from the first platen, of the second platen. The toggle mechanism is disposed between the second platen and the pressure receiving platen and on a diagonal line of the second platen and configured to cause the first and second platens to approach or depart from each other.

Mold clamping device

A flow battery includes: a cell including a first chamber and a second chamber a first liquid that contains a charge mediator and a discharge mediator, and that is located in the first chamber of the cell; a first electrode located in the first chamber of the cell; a first active material that is solid and that is located in the first chamber of the cell; a second liquid located in the second chamber of the cell; a second electrode that is located in the second chamber of the cell, and that is a counter electrode to the first electrode; and a first stirrer that stirs the first liquid in the first chamber. The charge mediator has a lower equilibrium potential than an equilibrium potential of the first active material. The discharge mediator has a higher equilibrium potential than the equilibrium potential of the first active material.

Flow battery that includes active material

Provided is a method for extruding molten resin in a charging space from a head by converting a rotational motion of an electric motor into a linear motion of a piston disposed in the charging space through a ball screw and thus causing the piston to move vertically, the charging space being a space into which the molten resin can be charged and formed in an accumulator, the head having an extrusion port at a lower end thereof. The method includes a step of separating an upper plate from a lower plate and retracting the upper plate upward by a rotational motion of the electric motor and then charging the molten resin into the charging space with a sufficient charging pressure to push up the piston against weights of the lower plate and the piston in the charging space, the lower plate being disposed over the accumulator and coupled to the piston from above, the upper plate being engaged with the electric motor through a screwing relationship and disposed over the lower plate so as to be able to surface-contact the lower plate and a step of extruding the molten resin from the extrusion port by moving the upper plate downward with the upper plate and the lower plate surface-contacting each other by a rotational motion of the electric motor and thus moving the piston downward in the charging space.

The present invention relates to a current collector including a base portion with a flat face, primary projections projecting from the flat face, and secondary projections projecting from the top of the primary projections. The present invention also relates to a current collector including a base portion with a flat face and primary projections projecting from the flat face, wherein the roughening rate of the top of the primary projections is 3 to 20. By using such a current collector, separation of the active material from the current collector can be inhibited when using an active material that has a high capacity but undergoes a large expansion at the time of lithium ion absorption.

This invention provides a negative electrode and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery including the negative electrode. The negative electrode includes a Li-absorbing element as a negative electrode active material, is free from deformation, separation of the negative electrode active material layer from the negative electrode current collector, and deposition of lithium on the negative electrode current collector, and is excellent in cycle characteristic, large-current discharge characteristic, and low-temperature discharge characteristic. The negative electrode of this invention includes: a current collector having depressions and protrusions on a surface in the thickness direction thereof; and a negative electrode active material layer that includes a plurality of columns containing a negative electrode active material that absorbs and releases lithium ions, the columns being grown outwardly from the surface of the current collector. The negative electrode of this invention is characterized in that the columns are grown at an inclination angle relative to the direction perpendicular to the surface of the current collector, and that the inclination angle of the columns changes reversibly depending on absorption and release of lithium ions by the negative electrode active material.
