A small-sized lens barrel and camera have the following configuration. The lens barrel has a first barrel, a second barrel movable between retracted position retracted in the inner diameter side of the first barrel and shooting position shifted toward the incident side in an optical axis direction with respect to the first barrel, a lens moved relative to the second barrel, a support part formed into a ring shape and supported by the end of the first barrel on the exit side in the optical axis direction, the support part being arranged on the inner diameter side of the first barrel, a projecting part formed so as to project in the optical axis direction from the end of the second barrel on the exit side in the optical axis direction, and an accommodating part being formed at the support part and accommodating the projecting part at the retracted position.

Lens barrel and camera

There is provided a lens barrel with an vibration reduction unit, which allows a reduction in dimension of the lens barrel in the optical-axis direction in the accommodated state, and an imaging device including such lens barrel. The lens barrel includes first and second lens units, a drive part for driving one of the first and second lens units in the optical-axis direction with respect to a stationary part, the drive part driving the one of the first and second lens units to approach each other during shifting to an accommodated state, and an vibration reduction part for moving the other lens unit in a plane substantially orthogonal to the optical axis so that at least part of a position of the other lens unit in the optical-axis direction coincides with a position of the drive part in the accommodated state.

Lens barrel and imaging device

A lens barrel includes: a vibration reduction mechanism comprising a vibration reduction lens and a drive device that drives the vibration reduction lens, so as to compensate for image vibration; and a shutter unit for exposure control. The drive device and the shutter unit are arranged so as at least partially to overlap in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the lens barrel.

Lens barrel and digital camera

An apparatus in which photographic film is fed out of a film cartridge and is led through a film path to a spool chamber to be wound on a take-up spool includes a film guide that extends from the end of the film path toward the spool chamber. The film guide reliably guides the film, which has been led to the spool chamber, to the take-up spool. The film guide ensures that the film is properly wound on the take-up spool by preventing it from prematurely curling within the spool chamber. The film guide also ensures that magnetic recording operations performed on the film by a recording head, if present, are also reliably performed.

Apparatus that uses a photographic film

The picture frame switching mechanism according to the present invention includes: a plurality of picture frame definition members whose relative position in a plane perpendicular to an optical axis of an optical system is changed so as to switch picture frames; a drive section which drives a portion of the plurality of picture frame definition members; and a linked driving section which drives other portion of the picture frame definition members in linkage according to predetermined conditions with driving of the portion of the picture frame definition members.

Picture frame switching mechanism

A camera having a hand tremor correction mechanism with improved positioning of the hand tremor correction mechanism. The camera includes a photographic lens which moves along the optical axis of the photographic optical system. A vibration detection unit detects camera vibration, such as from hand tremor, and produces a corresponding output signal. A vibration correction mechanism, coupled to the external periphery of the photographic lens and electrically connected to the vibration detection unit via a flexible printed circuit board, receives the output signal of the vibration detection unit and compensates for the vibration detected by the vibration detection unit. The camera can also have a vibration correction mechanism which is coupled to the external periphery of the photographic lens and which shifts the photographic lens to compensate for the effects of vibration, the vibration correction mechanism having a thickness or width in the optical axis direction which is less than or equal to the thickness or width of the photographic lens in the optical axis direction.

Camera having hand tremor correction mechanism

A camera having a built-in first flash light emitting unit located directly above a photographic lens on the front surface of the camera body, and a second flash light emitting unit located at an upper corner of the front face of the camera body. The camera has autofocus capabilities, and reduces shadows created during close-up photography and reduces the 'red eye' phenomenon created during far away photography through the control of each of the two flash light emitting units.
