A movement includes a first wheel which includes a wheel main body which is configured by a resin material and a metal layer which is configured by a metal material and is provided on an outer surface of the wheel main body, and a second wheel which is configured by a metal material, in which the movement transmits a drive force of an electric motor module which is driven using a battery as an electrical power source.

An electronic timepiece improves operability when manually adjusting the time. The electronic timepiece includes: a time display configured to indicate the time; a rotatable crown that can be pulled out to multiple stop positions, including a first position and a second position; a stop position detector configured to detect the stop position of the crown; an operation detector configured to detect an operation rotating the crown; and a time setter configured to change the time displayed by the time display according to an adjustment amount that differs according to the stop position at each detected operation when the stop position is the first position or the second position and the operating detector detects the operation.

Electronic timepiece

A train wheel unit is provided with a first wheel which is configured by a material including a conductive polymer and a carbon powder, and a second wheel which is configured by a metal material. The train wheel unit transmits a drive force of an electric motor module which is driven using a battery as an electrical power source.

An electronic timepiece can eliminate deviation in the information display position of two display wheels. An electronic timepiece has: a first display wheel having numerals indicating the ones digit of the date; and a second display wheel having numerals indicating the tens digit of the date. At least one of the display wheels can be turned in a first direction and a second direction. A controller, when turning the display wheel in the first direction, executes a first rotation process of turning the display wheel in the first direction and then stopping rotation of the display wheel; and when turning the display wheel in the second direction, executes a second rotation process of turning the display wheel in the second direction, then turning the display wheel in the first direction, and then stopping rotation of the display wheel.

A timepiece has a solar panel including a plurality of solar cells; a dial disposed on the face side of the solar panel and configured to transmit a light; a molding member disposed to the face side of the dial overlapping the outside edge of the dial when seen from the face side of the timepiece; and an opaque light shield disposed on the face side of the dial on the inside side of the molding member; the solar panel having connectors that connect adjacent solar cells in series, and at least part of each connector is covered by the light shield when seen from the face.

An electronic timepiece includes an outer case, a back cover, and an antenna for receiving radio waves disposed in the outer case, wherein at least one of the outer case and the back cover is formed from a titanium alloy composed of aluminum in an amount of 3.50 mass % or more and 4.50 mass % or less and vanadium in an amount of 20.00 mass % or more and 23.00 mass % or less, with the remainder including titanium and impurities.

An electronic timepiece has a time display unit including a dial made from a non-conductive material, and hands; and a movement that drives the hands. The movement includes a circuit board, a planar antenna attached to the circuit board, a stepper motor that drives the hands, and a battery. The planar antenna, the stepper motor, and the battery are disposed to positions overlapping the time display unit in plan view, and not overlapping each other in plan view.

An electronic timepiece with a calendar display function that drives a piezo-electric actuator to drive a rotation of a piezo-electric rotor, and stops the drive of the piezo-electric actuator when the amount of the piezo-electric rotor advances is detected by a spring switch. Photoreflectors are used for day detection accomplished using gears having a small speed reduction ratio relative to the piezo-electric rotor, and spring switches are used in month detection and year detection.
