A seat backrest includes right and left side frame segments, a pressure receiving member disposed between the side frame segments movably in a front-back direction, and a cushion pad covering the front of the side frame segments and pressure receiving member. The pressure receiving member includes a main body part, and extending parts extending laterally from both sides of the main body part. The cushion pad includes a back receiving part covering the front of the main body part, and bank parts disposed on both sides of the back receiving part, protruding forward from both sides, and covering the front of the extending parts and side frame segments. A recess is formed at an area, facing a corresponding extending part of the extending parts, of a rear surface of each bank part.

Seat backrest

Disclosed is a headrest fore-aft position adjuster including a displaceable body which receives load of an occupant's head and which displaces in a fore-aft direction with respect to a headrest pillar and a lock mechanism which locks and unlocks the displaceable body at a plurality of positions along the fore-aft direction, and the lock mechanism includes an engaging part which displaces in the fore-aft direction integrally with the displaceable body, a plurality of engaged part which is provided along a trajectory of the engaging part and which the engaging part is engaged with in a locked state and the engaging part is configured to engage with the engaged parts from a lateral position.

Headrest fore-aft position adjuster

A vehicle seat includes a pressure-receiving member disposed rearwardly of an occupant between left and right side frames, and a rocking mechanism configured to cause a left side or a right side of the pressure-receiving member to move frontward and rearward. The rocking mechanism includes a first link member provided pivotally, a second link member provided pivotally on the first link member and pivotally connected to the pressure-receiving member, and an actuator configured to cause the first link member and the second link member to pivot.

A vehicle seat (car seat (S)) includes a seat cushion (S), a seat back (S), and a headrest (S), the seat back (S) including a seat back frame constituting a frame of the seat back (S), and a seat back pad covering the seat back frame, and the vehicle seat being configured to allow an upper body of an occupant to sink into the seat back (S) when a backward movement load acts on the seat back from the occupant's upper body. The seat back pad includes a center portion () configured to face a back region of the occupant's upper body, and right and left side portions () provided at right and left sides of the center portion () and each configured to protrude frontward farther than the center portion (), and each of the right and left side portions has an upper side portion (A) corresponding to a height of a chest region of the occupant and a lower side portion (B) corresponding to a height of a lumbar region of the occupant, which are configured such that when they receive the backward movement load, the upper side portion (A) is more easily deformable than the lower side portion (B).

A storage assist device for a vehicle seat selectively changes in position between a use and a storage position. The device includes a supporting member for supporting a rotating shaft fixed to the seat cushion; a link member having a fixed portion fixed to the rotating shaft and an engagement portion provided at a position spaced from the fixed portion; a fixing member provided on the vehicle body floor side and disposed at a predetermined distance from the rotating shaft; and an urging spring mounted in a tensioned condition between the engagement portion of the link member and the fixing member that can apply the urging force in the urging direction. The link member is fixed to the rotating shaft such that the entire length of the urging spring is shortest when the seat center of gravity is located on a vertical surface including the rotating shaft.
