A laundry detergent composition comprising from about 0.1% to about 80%, by weight of the composition, of a polyamine mono-anionic surfactant; and a solubiliser; in a defined weight ratio. Also, a process of making the polyamine mono-anionic surfactant and the laundry compositions containing the same.

An aqueous liquid laundry detergent composition comprising an alkoxylated carboxylic acid surfcatant and a free radical scavenger in the mole ratio of from about 500:1 to about 20:1. The composition substantially prevents the degradation of the alkoxylated ester surfactant upon storage and is also color-stable.

Liquid laundry detergent with an alkoxylated ester surfactant

A low-foaming aqueous liquid laundry detergent composition comprising from about 0.05% to about 6%, by weight of the composition, of certain carboxylic acid ester and/or low-degree alkoxylated derivatives thereof having HLB below about 10; from about 8% to about 80% of a surfactant; from about 15% to about 90% of water. The compositions are particularly suitable for use in front-loading laundry washing machines.

Low-foaming liquid laundry detergent

Aqueous laundry detergent compositions comprising a solubilized ethoxylated fatty acid diester as a detergency booster and/or a defoamer. Preferred compositions include a nonionic surfactant, preferably ethoxylated fatty acid monoester, as at least part of the surfactant in the composition, and also functioning as the solibilizer for the ethoxylated fatty acid diester.
