The capacitor has first and second electrodes, which respectively include first and second side surface portions disposed in parallel to a length direction of the resistor. The resistor has a first resistance body corresponding to the first side surface portions and a second resistance body corresponding to the second side surface portions that are separately disposed along the length direction and connected in series via a wire, and is mounted so that the first resistance body is positioned directly facing the first side surface portions and the second resistance body is positioned directly facing the second side surface portions.

In a liquid crystal apparatus, a liquid crystal is provided in a cavity surrounded by a seal material between a first substrate and a second substrate. Between a display area on an inner side of the seal material and the seal material, a circulation flow path coupled to the display area is constituted by the seal material and a partition. The partition is formed simultaneously with the seal material. The circulation flow path is provided with a forced circulation apparatus configured to forcibly cause the liquid crystal of the circulation flow path to flow. The circulation flow path has a higher adsorptivity for ions than the display area, and ionic impurities contained in the liquid crystal passing through the circulation flow path are removed from the liquid crystal in the circulation flow path.

The invention provides an alignment film that is provided with a high alignment control force to a target molecule and less likely to cause problems to an element during the formation of the alignment film. An alignment film has a configuration in which, on a first alignment layer, a second alignment film layer that is uniform in the in-plane anisotropy more than the first alignment film thereof and aligned along surface alignment of the first alignment film. The first alignment film layer can be formed of, for instance, a polyimide film whose rubbing density is 200 or less, and the second alignment film layer can be formed by use of an ion deposition method with an acryl monomers as a deposition material. A liquid crystal device provided with the alignment film like this becomes higher in the alignment control force to a liquid crystal.
