A drive apparatus includes a motor that has a motor shaft extending in an axial direction, a transmission mechanism that is connected on one side in the axial direction of the motor shaft, a lock mechanism that restricts driving of the transmission mechanism, a housing that houses the motor, the transmission mechanism, and the lock mechanism, an oil that is stored in the housing, and an oil passage that circulates the oil. The housing includes a motor room that houses the motor, a gear room that houses the transmission mechanism and the lock mechanism, and a partition that is provided between the motor room and the gear room. The oil passage includes a pump that pumps the oil in the oil passage, a first feed flow passage that feeds the oil to the motor, and a second feed flow passage that feeds the oil to the lock mechanism.

Drive apparatus

A motor assembly includes a motor with a rotor rotatable about a motor shaft and a stator located radially outside the rotor, an inverter to supply power to the motor, a housing provided with a motor housing space that houses the motor and an inverter housing space that houses the inverter, and a first bus bar that electrically connects the motor and the inverter. The housing includes a partition wall portion that partitions the motor housing space and the inverter housing space and is provided with a through hole penetrating in the axial direction. The first bus bar is connected to a coil wire extending from the stator at an end on one side in the axial direction of the stator in the motor housing space, and extends to the inverter housing space through the through hole.

In a drive device, a first flow path of a fluid connects a gear accommodation portion and an inlet of a pump. A second flow path connects an outlet of the pump and one end of a third flow path via a cooler. The third flow path is inside a partition wall of a housing and intersects a rotation axis of a first shaft. A fourth flow path connects another end of the third flow path and one end of a fifth flow path. The fifth flow path is inside a gear side lid of the housing. Another end of the fifth flow path is connected to one end of a second shaft in an axial direction. One end of a sixth flow path is connected to another end of the third flow path. Another end of the sixth flow path is inside a housing tubular portion.

Drive device

A gear portion of a power transmission device is connected to one side in an axial direction of a first shaft rotatable about a first axis extending along a horizontal direction. The first shaft is supported by a first bearing. The gear portion includes a second shaft rotatable about a second axis below the first axis. A lubricant is provided in a first bearing holding portion of the first bearing. A gear housing that houses the gear portion includes an oil passage below the first bearing. A first end of the oil passage is connected to the first bearing holding portion through the first bearing. A second end of the oil passage is connected to a second bearing holding portion of a second bearing that supports the second shaft through an opening below the first bearing.

Power transmission device, motor unit, and vehicle

A motor unit according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a motor having a rotor that rotates about a motor axis and a stator located radially outside the rotor; an inverter that controls a current to be supplied to the motor; a housing body having a motor housing portion that houses the motor and an inverter housing portion that houses the inverter; and an inverter housing configured to cover an opening of the inverter housing portion while supporting the inverter. The housing body is provided with a first cooling path through which a first refrigerant for cooling the motor flows. The inverter housing is provided with a second cooling path through which a second refrigerant for cooling the inverter flows.

Motor unit

A motor unit according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a motor having a rotor that rotates about a motor axis and a stator located radially outside the rotor; an inverter that controls a current to be supplied to the motor; and a housing having a motor housing portion that houses the motor and an inverter housing portion that houses the inverter. The housing further includes an inverter housing provided with a top plate portion covering an opening of the inverter housing portion. The inverter is fixed to a back surface of the top plate portion, facing the inside of the inverter housing portion.

A motor unit includes a motor including a rotor including a shaft, and configured to rotate about a motor axis extending in a horizontal direction, and a stator located radially outside of the rotor; a housing including a housing space to accommodate the motor; an oil passage configured to circulate an oil in the housing space to cool the motor; a gear portion connected to the shaft on one side in an axial direction of the motor axis; and a pump arranged in the oil passage and arranged to the housing. The housing includes a partition arranged to divide a gear chamber to accommodate the gear portion and a motor chamber to accommodate the motor. The partition includes a second connection hole portion opened on the other side in the axial direction toward an inside of the motor chamber.

Provided is a motor unit including: a motor that rotates about a motor axis; a gear unit connected to the motor; an inverter that controls a current to be supplied to the motor; and a housing having a motor housing portion that houses the motor, an inverter housing portion that houses the inverter, and a gear housing portion that houses the gear unit. The inverter housing portion is supported by the motor housing portion and the gear housing portion. The housing includes a housing body that is a single member, the housing body including: a first wall portion that also serves as a side wall of each of the inverter housing portion and the motor housing portion; and a second wall portion that also serves as a side wall of each of the inverter housing portion and the gear housing portion.

In a drive apparatus, a ring gear of a differential device is rotatable about a third axis in a direction opposite to a counter gear of a deceleration device. The inner surface of the gear housing accommodating the deceleration device, the differential device, and the reservoir capable of storing a fluid includes first and second curved surfaces disposed in the +X direction with respect to the third and second axes, respectively. At least a part of the first curved surface faces the radially outer end portion of the ring gear in the radial direction and extends in the circumferential direction. At least a part of the second curved surface faces the radially outer end portion of the counter gear in the radial direction and extends in the circumferential direction. The position of the reservoir in the Y-axis direction overlaps the first curved surface and the second curved surface.

A transmission housing of a drive device is fixed to one side in an axial direction of a motor housing that includes a first housing and a second housing fixed to another side in the axial direction of the first housing. The transmission housing includes a third housing fixed to the first housing and a fourth housing fixed to one side in the axial direction of the third housing. A bolt fixing the first and second housings passes through a through-hole of the second housing from the another side in the axial direction, and is fixed to a bolt hole of the first housing. A bolt fixing the second and third housings passes through a through hole of the first housing from the another side in the axial direction, and is fixed to a bolt hole of the third housing.

A drive apparatus includes a power assembly rotatable about a first axis, a transmission to transmit power of the power assembly, and a parking assembly provided in the transmission. The transmission includes a first gear rotatable around a first axis, a second gear to mesh with the first gear and rotatable around a second axis, a third gear to rotate around the second axis together with the second gear, and a fourth gear to mesh with the third gear and rotatable around a third axis. The parking assembly includes a parking gear rotatable around the first axis together with the first gear, a parking pawl that includes a meshing portion and is rotatable around a fourth axis, and a drive assembly to rotationally move the parking pawl around the fourth axis and operate the parking pawl.

A drive apparatus includes a motor; a reduction gear connected to the motor; a differential connected to the reduction gear, for rotating an axle about a differential axis; a housing including a gear housing portion housing the reduction gear and the differential; and an oil housed in the gear housing portion. The differential includes a gear for rotating about the differential axis. An end portion of the gear is lower than the reduction gear, and is configured to soak in the oil. The housing includes an oil drain hole and an oil feed hole for joining an interior of the housing and a space outside of the housing, a first stopper member removably in the oil drain hole, and a second stopper member removably in the oil feed hole. Each of the oil drain hole and the oil feed hole is in a portion of the gear housing portion.

Drive apparatus and oil changing method

One aspect of a motor of the present disclosure may include a rotor having a motor shaft disposed along a central axis extending in one direction, a stator facing the rotor via a gap in a radial direction, and a housing having an accommodating portion configured to accommodate the rotor and the stator, and to enable oil to be stored therein, wherein the housing comprises a lower wall portion facing a vertical-directional lower region in the inside of the accommodating portion, the lower wall portion comprises a cooling flow passage formed therein, and refrigerant flows in the cooling flow passage, and at least a portion of the cooling flow passage overlaps the vertical-directional lower region in the inside of the accommodating portion when viewed along a vertical direction.
