An inkjet textile printing apparatus includes a penetrant liquid storage tank, a textile printing colored liquid storage tank, and first to third flow passages. The penetrant liquid storage tank is configured and arranged to store a penetrant liquid that facilitates penetration of a textile printing colored liquid into a fabric. The textile printing colored liquid storage tank is configured and arranged to store the textile printing colored liquid. The first flow passage connects the penetrant liquid storage tank and a first nozzle together. The second flow passage connects the textile printing colored liquid storage tank and a second nozzle together. The third flow passage connects the first flow passage and the second flow passage together and forms a flow passage for supplying the penetrant liquid to the second nozzle.

Inkjet textile printing method and inkjet textile printing apparatus

The inkjet textile printing method includes: printing onto a first fabric with a first textile printing colored liquid using a step for ejecting a first penetrant liquid from a first nozzle onto a first surface of the first fabric and a step for ejecting the first textile printing colored liquid from a second nozzle onto the first surface; printing onto a second fabric with a second textile printing colored liquid using a step for ejecting a second penetrant liquid from the first nozzle onto a first surface of the second fabric and a step for ejecting the second textile printing colored liquid from the second nozzle onto the first surface; and discharging at least one of the first penetrant liquid and the second penetrant liquid from the second nozzle between printing with the first textile printing colored liquid and printing with the second textile printing colored liquid.

By using an ink composition which contains C.I. Acid Red 52, C.I. Acid Red 92, and a specific dye at a ratio in a specific range, it is possible to provide recorded matter having good lightfastness without impairing fluorescence intensity and color developability.

Ink composition

An ink composition includes C.I. Acid Red 52, C.I. Acid Red 92, C.I. Direct Yellow 87, water, a water-soluble organic solvent, tetraethylene glycol monoethylhexyl ether, and triethylene glycol monobutyl ether.

Water-based fluorescent ink composition

A fixing unit for fixing a toner image to a recording medium by passing the recording medium which carries an unfixed image between a pair of rollers which are rotated with being pressed to each other to apply heat and pressure to the recording medium thereby fixing the unfixed image onto the recording medium. The fixing unit includes a housing in which the pair of rollers are provided, the housing having an outer surface; a plate-shaped member for indicating information; and a holding structure for physically holding the plate-shaped member on the outer surface of the housing in a removable manner.

Fixing unit and image forming apparatus equipped with the fixing unit

In a fixing device incorporated in an image forming apparatus and operable to fix a toner image on a recording medium, a first rotative member and a second rotative member form a nip portion therebetween, at which the toner image is fixed on the recording medium. A separator separates the recording medium, which has been passed through the nip portion, from one of the first rotative member and the second rotative member. The separator is provided with a first guide face extending in a first direction to guide the separated recording medium to an inlet of a subsequent stage of the image forming apparatus. The first guide face is provided with a rib extending in the first direction.

Fixing device

A fixing device includes a pressure application roller pressed against a fixing belt (or fixing roller) to be heated. One of the them is driven while the other follows the one in rotation. A recording medium S having a toner image thereon is moved to pass through a central part N of a press contact portion N, whereby the toner image is fused and fixed on the recording medium. High grip portions G are provided on both side ends of the fixing belt or the pressure application roller.
