The present invention provides a binocular camera resetting method and a binocular camera resetting apparatus, wherein the binocular camera resetting method comprises: obtaining a first image and a second image photographed by two cameras at the same time respectively after completing a rough adjustment of the two cameras; calculating a relative rotation angle between optical axes of the two cameras using a plurality of feature points of the first image acquired by one of the two cameras and the feature points of the second image acquired by the other one of the two cameras; controlling one of the two cameras to rotate the relative rotation angle to parallelize the optical axes of the rotated camera and the other camera; and adjusting a spaced distance between the two cameras to a preset distance.

A liquid crystal lens imaging apparatus includes a lens group containing at least a liquid crystal lens, a drive circuit, an image collecting unit, and an image processing unit. The drive circuit is connected to the liquid crystal lens to drive the liquid crystal lens into an out-of-focus state or into an in-focus state. The image collecting unit is configured to collect light signal passing through the liquid crystal lens and to generate an image according to the light signal. When the liquid crystal lens is in the in-focus state, the image collecting unit generates an in-focus image of the light signal and, when the liquid crystal lens is in the out-of-focus state, the image collecting unit generates an out-of-focus image of the light signal. Further, the image processing unit is connected to the image collecting unit to receive both the in-focus image and the out-of-focus image and to process the in-focus image using the out-of-focus image to obtain a processed in-focus image as a final generated image.

Apparatus and method for liquid crystal lens imaging

The present invention provides a liquid crystal lens imaging apparatus and method. Wherein, the imaging apparatus comprises a lens group including at least a liquid crystal lens, a drive circuit, an image collecting unit and an image processing unit. The drive circuit is connected to the liquid crystal lens to drive the liquid crystal lens respectively into an in-focus state or into an out-of-focus state. The image collecting unit is configured to collect light signal passing through the liquid crystal lens to generate an image. When the liquid crystal lens is in the in-focus state, the image collecting unit generates an in-focus image of the light signal and, when the liquid crystal lens is in the out-of-focus state, the image collecting unit generates an out-of-focus image of the light signal as a reference image. Further, the image processing unit is connected to the image collecting unit to receive both the in-focus image and the reference image, to process the in-focus image using the reference image to generate a processed image, and to deconvolute the processed image to generate a final image.

Liquid crystal lens imaging method and apparatus

A visual-based obstacle detection method is provided. The method includes receiving image information of an environment containing a mobile robot captured by at least one visual sensor to obtain one of a three-dimensional space and a two-dimensional plane, and extracting and matching feature geometric primitives based on the received image information. The method also includes reconstructing coordinates of matched extracted feature geometric primitives and positions and orientations of the visual sensor and optimizing the reconstructed coordinates to obtain a calculation result, wherein the calculation result includes the feature geometric primitives, the positions and orientations of the visual sensor, as well as visible constraint relationships between the feature geometric primitives and the positions and orientations. Further, the method includes detecting obstacles in the environment containing the mobile robot based on the obtained calculation result and plotting a path for automatic motion of the mobile robot based on the detected obstacles.
