The UE may select, from one or more of the multiple candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint, at least one candidate set that has a highest value for a utility parameter among utility parameters associated with each of the one or more candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint. Concurrent physical sidelink feedback channel transmission

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support multiple-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning. In some aspects, a method includes transmitting, by a first user equipment (UE) including a first set of transmission and reception points (TRPs), a first request for a first sidelink (SL) positioning session. The first request indicates a multi-TRP positioning session is enabled. The method also includes receiving, from a second UE including a second set of TRPs, a first response based on the first request. The first response indicates a number of TRPs of the second set of TRPs available for the first SL positioning session. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Multi-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a time offset for synchronization signal resources for synchronization signals associated with a first radio access technology (RAT). The UE may determine the synchronization signal resources and a synchronization periodicity based on the indication and a penetration ratio of UEs associated with the first RAT. The UE may selectively transmit the synchronization signals on the synchronization signal resources and according to the synchronization periodicity. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may determine that other synchronization signal resources are allocated for a second RAT and may select resources for communications associated with the first RAT based on determining that the other synchronization signal resources are allocated. The UE may perform communications associated with the first RAT based on selecting the resources.

Resource sharing between sidelink devices using different radio access technologies

A method of assisting joint network entity/user equipment and user equipment/user equipment (NE/UE-and-UE/UE) ranging includes: transmitting, from a first UE to a network entity, a capability indication that indicates a capability of the first UE to serve as an anchor UE for joint NE/UE-and-UE/UE ranging; obtaining, at the first UE, a location of the first UE; transmitting, from the first UE, the location of the first UE; transmitting, from the first UE to the network entity, at least one indication that a second UE is in a line of sight of the first UE or that the second UE is in close proximity to the first UE; and transmitting, from the first UE, at least one of a first positioning reference signal to the second UE, or a measurement report indicating a measurement of a second positioning reference signal received by the first UE from the second UE.

Receiving sidelink UEs may map sidelink feedback interlaces corresponding to detected sidelink data transmissions to sidelink feedback resources of a common sidelink feedback symbol according to an interlace mapping rule (e.g., defining which contiguous or non-contiguous frequency resources the UE is to use for transmitting sidelink feedback for the received sidelink data messages). The receiving UEs may map one or more replicas of initial interlaces of sidelink feedback resources to additional available resources of the sidelink feedback resources in the common feedback symbol.

In some aspects, a mobile station may transmit, from the mobile station to an encoding device, acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK-NACK) feedback based at least in part on a transmission by the encoding device, wherein the ACK-NACK feedback is associated with a feedback bin, and wherein the feedback bin is associated with a location of the mobile station. The mobile station may receive, at the mobile station from the encoding device, a network coding transport block, wherein the network coding transport block is formed based at least in part on the transmission and the ACK-NACK feedback associated with the feedback bin. Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a first UE determines a set of resources for transmission of one or more sidelink PRSs. The first UE transmits a sidelink control message to reserve the set of resources for the transmission of the one or more sidelink PRSs. In another aspect, the second UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may (e.g., transmit and/or receive/measure) the one or more PRSs in accordance with the sidelink control message. A user equipment (UE) may generate sidelink assistance information based on an interference condition associated with an initial transmission of sidelink communication over a sidelink resource of a sidelink resource pool. The sidelink assistance information may include information associated with the interference condition. The UE may transmit an inter-UE coordination message including the generated sidelink assistance information. Additionally, or alternatively, a UE may receive inter-UE coordination message including sidelink assistance information. The UE may receive a retransmission of the sidelink communication and decode the received retransmission of the sidelink communication based on the received inter-UE coordination message including sidelink assistance information.

Techniques for interference cancellation in sidelink communication

Aspects relate to mechanisms for a wireless communication device to generate a superposition transmission of a sidelink signal to be transmitted to at least one receiving wireless communication device and an uplink signal to be transmitted to a base station. The wireless communication device may transmit the superposition transmission on resources allocated by the base station on a common carrier utilized for both sidelink and uplink transmissions. The superposition transmission includes a base layer corresponding to the uplink signal and an enhanced layer corresponding to the sidelink signal. The wireless communication device may further generate and transmit interference assistance information to the receiving wireless communication device for use by the receiving wireless communication device in canceling the base layer from the superposition transmission.

A user equipment (UE) in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) system may receive configuration information from an assisting node, such as a roadside unit (RSU), for calculating location information for a target UE in the V2X system. The assisting node may reflect one or more radar signals from the UE towards the target, and from the target back towards the UE according to the configuration information. That is, the assisting node may modify one or more waveform parameters of the reflection according to the configuration information. The UE may calculate location information for the target based on the reflection, such as by classifying the target as non-line-of-sight (NLOS) based on modified waveform parameters, location information of the assisting node, or both.
