Aspects presented herein improve congestion control mechanism for UEs with multiple TRPs, where at least one of the SL RSSI measurement, the CBR measurement, the CR evaluation and/or the congestion control mechanism for the UE is optimized. In one aspect, the apparatus evaluates a CR for each TRP of a plurality of TRPs at the UE. The apparatus determines whether the UE is allowed to transmit on one or more of the TRPs of the plurality of TRPs based at least on the evaluated CR for each TRP of the plurality of TRPs and on at least one CR limit. The apparatus transmits on at least one TRP of the one or more of the TRPs based on the determination whether to transmit on the one or more TRPs.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a transmitter user equipment (UE). The transmitter UE generates a message authentication code, based on information within a sidelink master information block (SL-MIB) and a key shared between the transmitter UE and a receiver UE. The transmitter UE transmits a sidelink broadcast channel (SL-BCH) transmission carrying the SL-MIB and the message authentication code.

Secure timing for sidelink systems

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating interruption handling in satellite-based communications are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes determining an interruption for a satellite-based communication link based in part on UE location information and blockage information of an obstruction that blocks LOS propagation for the satellite-based communication link. The example method also includes refraining performance of one or more communication link correction procedures for a time period associated with the interruption.

Techniques to handle interruption in satellite-based communications

A first user equipment (UE) wakes up a second UE to request information using an application specific sidelink wake up signal (SL-WUS). The first UE determines a sidelink configuration of the second UE that is configured with a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode. The first UE transmits the SL-WUS on a configured resource monitored by the second UE during the DRX mode. A selection of a sequence of the SL-WUS or a selection of the configured resource indicates a type of information requested by the first UE. The second UE receives the SL-WUS, wakes up during a DRX on duration, and transmits the requested information. The first UE receives the type of information requested by the first UE.

Application specific wake up signals for sidelink systems

In some aspects of the disclosure, a method of wireless communication includes performing a first wireless transmission using a plurality of transmission and reception points (TRPs) of a vehicle. The first wireless transmission is performed based on a first transmit power allocation among the plurality of TRPs. The method further includes, in response to the first wireless transmission, receiving one or more feedback signals indicating a receive status of the first wireless transmission at one or more devices. The method further includes performing a second wireless transmission using the plurality of TRPs based on a second transmit power allocation among the plurality of TRPs. The second transmit power allocation is determined based on at least one received signal strength of the one or more feedback signals.

Transmit power adjustment for a vehicle with multiple transmission and reception points

Aspects relate to techniques for sidelink transmissions scheduled by network entities. A UE may receive a resource reservation message from a transmitting UE indicating resources granted by a network entity for a first sidelink transmission. The UE may detect a conflict between the first sidelink transmission and a second sidelink transmission and transmit a conflict indication in response to detecting the conflict. The UE may transmit the conflict indication to the transmitting UE or to the network entity. In some examples, the transmitting UE receiving the conflict indication may report the conflict to the network entity.

Coordinated sidelink communication

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter user equipment (UE) may identify beamforming information for transmitting a pre-reservation signal that indicates a set of non-preferred resources associated with a data transmission. The UE may transmit, to a receiver UE in accordance with the beamforming information, the pre-reservation signal that indicates the set of non-preferred resources associated with the data transmission. Sidelink resource reservation using non-preferred resource signaling

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a second UE, a first sidelink synchronization signal (SLSS) at a first transmission-reception point (TRP) and a second TRP different from the first TRP. The first UE may perform a first set of measurements on the first SLSS received at the first TRP and a second set of measurements on the first SLSS received at the second TRP. The first UE may then transmit, to a third UE, a second SLSS based at least in part on the first set of measurements, the second set of measurements, or both, satisfying one or more measurement thresholds.

Techniques for sidelink synchronization signal transmission with multi-transmission and receive point (TRP) user equipment (UES)

A first device may communicate an SL NC TB with a second device. At least one of the first device and the second device may be a UE. The first device may transmit, to a network entity, a first message having a first location information that indicates a movement of the UE from a first zone to a second zone. The first message may have a first location information associated with the UE. The UE may be in SL communication with a first encoder in the first zone. The network entity may obtain, from the first device, the first message. The network entity may initialize an NC handover of the UE to a second encoder of the second zone in response to the first location information indicating a movement of the UE from the first zone to the second zone.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a plurality of sidelink transmissions associated with a spatial division multiplexing (SDM) configuration. Sidelink feedback for multiple transmit-receive points

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for using physical resource blocks (PRBs) of a sidelink resource pool that, in some cases, might not belong to a sub-channel in sidelink or are assigned to a special sub-channel. When a user equipment (UE) is transmitting a sidelink communication, the sidelink communication often takes place in resource pools that include sub-channels in frequency domain and slots in a time domain. A first subset of PRBs of the resource pool may be assigned to one or more sub-channels in the frequency domain. The disclosed methods, devices, and systems provide for identifying PRBs not assigned to the first subset (e.g., remaining or unused PRBs or PRBs assigned to a special sub-channel). In some aspects of the present disclosure, the UE may use these PRBs for various purposes.

Techniques for using physical resource blocks (PRBS) in a sidelink resource pool

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, from an available resource pool, one or more resources for transmitting a packet on a channel. The UE may determine that a new shared channel occupancy time (COT) has been initiated on the channel. The UE may adapt at least one resource of the one or more resources for transmitting the packet based at least in part on determining that the new shared COT has been initiated. To facilitate efficient LBT sidelink sensing procedures, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided. An example method of a sidelink wireless device includes initiating an LBT sidelink sensing procedure including initiating an LBT timer to run for at least a minimum sensing duration in a channel. The example method further includes detecting one or more signals in the channel during the LBT side link sensing procedure.
