Method and apparatus for sidelink assisted interference cancellation. The apparatus receives a set of uplink transmission parameters of a second UE in a neighbor cell. The apparatus performs interference cancellation of an uplink transmission of the second UE on a downlink transmission received from a serving cell. The interference cancellation based at least on the set of uplink transmission parameters of the second UE. The apparatus may provide, to a base station, an indication indicating support for the interference cancellation. The apparatus may indicate, to the base station, a type of interference cancellation operation to be performed by the first UE.

Sidelink assisted cross link interference cancellation

An apparatus decodes sidelink control information to obtain resource reservation information for sidelink communication. The apparatus maintains a mapping of the resource reservation information. The apparatus reports information comprised in the mapping to a base station.

Sidelink resources based on interference cancelation capability

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine resource selection priority levels associated with available resources for sidelink signaling in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band, the resources selection priority levels may be determined based on resource reservation information of the available resources, a time domain location of the available resources, or both. For example, a first resource of the available resources may be associated with a higher priority than a second resource of the available resources in resource selection. The UE may select one or more resources for the sidelink signaling from the available resources based on the resource selection priority levels associated with the available resources. The UE may transmit the sidelink signaling on the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band using the one or more selected resources.

Techniques for resource selection for sidelink communication in unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band

In some implementations, a target user equipment (UE) may receive, from an initiator UE via an SL interface, a discovery request corresponding to an SL positioning session, wherein the target UE comprises a plurality of transmission/reception points (TRPs). The target UE may determine, from the discovery request, the initiator UE is incapable of associating each TRP of the plurality of TRPs with the target UE. Responsive to determining the initiator UE is incapable of associating each TRP of the plurality of TRPs with the target UE, the target UE may participate in the SL positioning session with the target UE by either: (i) using only one TRP of the plurality of TRPs during the SL positioning session, or (ii) using each TRP of the plurality of TRPs such that each TRP operates as a distinct UE.

Signaling methods for sidelink positioning for heterogeneous user equipments

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit compressed bitmap(s) to indicate preferred or non-preferred sidelink resources. A first UE may monitor a set of sidelink resources including a set of slots and subchannels for the slots and determine which resources are available for communications for a second UE. In some examples, the first UE may generate a bitmap indicating which slots have at least one subchannel that is unavailable, and, for each slot having at least one subchannel that is unavailable, a bitmap indicating which subchannels are unavailable for that slot. The first UE may transmit the bitmaps to the second UE. In some examples, the first UE may generate a bitmap indicating which slots have at least one subchannel that is available, and, for each slot having at least one subchannel that is available, a bitmap indicating which subchannels are available.

Signaling of a set of resources to support inter user equipment coordination

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a device may obtain first one or more anchor-to-target round-trip time (RTT) measurements corresponding to one or more respective RTT operations between a first target user equipment (UE) and first one or more anchor devices. The device may obtain second one or more anchor-to-target RTT measurements corresponding to one or more respective RTT operations between a second target UE and second one or more anchor devices. The device may obtain a target-to-target RTT measurement corresponding to an RTT operation between the first target UE and the second target UE. The device may determine at least a first estimated position of the first target UE based on the first one or more anchor-to-target RTT measurements, the second one or more anchor-to-target RTT measurements, and the target-to-target RTT measurement.

Techniques for joint sidelink positioning

Aspects presented herein improve congestion control mechanism for UEs with multiple TRPs, where at least one of the SL RSSI measurement, the CBR measurement, the CR evaluation and/or the congestion control mechanism for the UE is optimized. In one aspect, the apparatus evaluates a CR for each TRP of a plurality of TRPs at the UE. The apparatus determines whether the UE is allowed to transmit on one or more of the TRPs of the plurality of TRPs based at least on the evaluated CR for each TRP of the plurality of TRPs and on at least one CR limit. The apparatus transmits on at least one TRP of the one or more of the TRPs based on the determination whether to transmit on the one or more TRPs.

Congestion control for sidelink communication with multi-TRP

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit, in a first slot within a channel occupancy time (COT), a first communication; determine whether one or more transmission criteria are satisfied for transmission of a second communication in a second slot within the COT; and selectively transmit the second communication in the second slot within the COT based at least in part on a result of determining whether the one or more transmission criteria are satisfied. Discontinuous transmission in shared channel occupancy time for sidelink communication in unlicensed spectrum

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a transmitter user equipment (UE). The transmitter UE generates a message authentication code, based on information within a sidelink master information block (SL-MIB) and a key shared between the transmitter UE and a receiver UE. The transmitter UE transmits a sidelink broadcast channel (SL-BCH) transmission carrying the SL-MIB and the message authentication code.

Secure timing for sidelink systems

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE, an indication of a first reservation of a first resource associated with a first relay link of a UE-to-UE relay, wherein the first reservation is based at least in part on a second reservation of a second resource associated with a second relay link of the UE-to-UE relay. Techniques for resource reservations for user equipment relays

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating interruption handling in satellite-based communications are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes determining an interruption for a satellite-based communication link based in part on UE location information and blockage information of an obstruction that blocks LOS propagation for the satellite-based communication link. The example method also includes refraining performance of one or more communication link correction procedures for a time period associated with the interruption.

Techniques to handle interruption in satellite-based communications

A first user equipment (UE) wakes up a second UE to request information using an application specific sidelink wake up signal (SL-WUS). The first UE determines a sidelink configuration of the second UE that is configured with a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode. The first UE transmits the SL-WUS on a configured resource monitored by the second UE during the DRX mode. A selection of a sequence of the SL-WUS or a selection of the configured resource indicates a type of information requested by the first UE. The second UE receives the SL-WUS, wakes up during a DRX on duration, and transmits the requested information. The first UE receives the type of information requested by the first UE.

Application specific wake up signals for sidelink systems

In some aspects of the disclosure, a method of wireless communication includes performing a first wireless transmission using a plurality of transmission and reception points (TRPs) of a vehicle. The first wireless transmission is performed based on a first transmit power allocation among the plurality of TRPs. The method further includes, in response to the first wireless transmission, receiving one or more feedback signals indicating a receive status of the first wireless transmission at one or more devices. The method further includes performing a second wireless transmission using the plurality of TRPs based on a second transmit power allocation among the plurality of TRPs. The second transmit power allocation is determined based on at least one received signal strength of the one or more feedback signals.

Transmit power adjustment for a vehicle with multiple transmission and reception points

Aspects relate to techniques for sidelink transmissions scheduled by network entities. A UE may receive a resource reservation message from a transmitting UE indicating resources granted by a network entity for a first sidelink transmission. The UE may detect a conflict between the first sidelink transmission and a second sidelink transmission and transmit a conflict indication in response to detecting the conflict. The UE may transmit the conflict indication to the transmitting UE or to the network entity. In some examples, the transmitting UE receiving the conflict indication may report the conflict to the network entity.
