A data transmission method and a related device. In the method, a first terminal device receives response information based on received DCI that is associated with SSB information and/or a first identity and that is from a network device. In this way, the first terminal device may learn in advance, based on the received DCI, whether to receive response information scheduled by using the DCI. In other words, the first terminal device may identify, based on the DCI, whether a PDSCH scheduled by using the DCI is response information of the first terminal device, thereby avoiding repeated receiving of unnecessary response information, and reducing power consumption of the first terminal device.

Embodiments of this application disclose a random access method and an apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device performs first-type random access in a first bandwidth part, where the first bandwidth part is an active uplink bandwidth part; the terminal device determines a first parameter, where the first parameter is duration for performing first-type random access in the first bandwidth part, or the first parameter is a quantity of times of sending a first-type random access message; and the terminal device performs random access in a second bandwidth part if the first parameter is greater than a first threshold, where the second bandwidth part is an uplink bandwidth part, and an identifier of the second bandwidth part is different from an identifier of the first bandwidth part. Through implementation of the method described in embodiments of this application, a success rate of random access can be improved, and the terminal device can access a network in a timely manner.

This application provides a random access method and an apparatus. The random access method includes: User equipment sends a random access message of a first-type random access procedure to a network device. The random access message of the first-type random access procedure includes a random access preamble and uplink data. The user equipment starts a first time window after the end of the transmission of the random access preamble, and detects first downlink control information (DCI) and second DCI within the first time window. The first DCI is used to schedule a first physical downlink shared channel PDSCH for carrying a first response message to the random access preamble, and the second DCI is used to schedule a second PDSCH for carrying a second response message to the random access message.

The application provides a data sending method and a communication apparatus to avoid signaling overheads caused by scheduling by a network device, and a terminal device can flexibly select a quantity of repeated transmissions based on an actual situation, so that data transmission performance is improved. The network device sends configuration information of a receive power to the terminal device. After receiving the configuration information of the receive power, the terminal device determines a quantity of repeated transmissions of target data based on the configuration information of the receive power. After determining the quantity of repeated transmissions of the target data, the terminal device sends the target data to the network device based on the quantity of repeated transmissions of the target data.

An uplink transmission method includes obtaining control information useable for uplink transmission with dynamic scheduling, determining based on information about a first time-frequency resource allocated to the uplink transmission and configuration information of a first reference signal useable for the uplink transmission, a second time-frequency resource useable to send the first reference signal, obtaining first information of a semi-statically configured resource useable for the uplink transmission, and in response to performing the uplink transmission based on the control information, sending, by the communications apparatus on an overlapping time-frequency resource of a second time-frequency resource and a third time-frequency resource, a reference signal generated based on configuration information of a second reference signal or failing to send a signal. The control information includes information about the first time-frequency resource allocated to the uplink transmission and configuration information of the first reference signal useable for the uplink transmission.
