A cable connector assembly includes: an insulative housing; a printed circuit board (PCB) received in the insulative housing, the PCB having an upper surface; an electrical connector electrically connected with the PCB; a cable; a light member mounted on the PCB; a light guide member mounted on the PCB; and a shading member covered on the light guide member; wherein the electrical connector includes plural conductive terminals and plural fixing fingers fixed on the PCB, the PCB includes plural conductive pads exposed on the upper surface of the PCB and fixed with the conductive terminals and plural mounting holes on the upper surface of the PCB and matched with the fixing fingers.

Cable connector assembly

A cable connector assembly includes: a plug connector including plural conductive terminals; a cable including plural core wires, a braided layer coated the core wires, a cap coated the braided layer, and a metal member; a printed circuit board (PCB) including a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the plug connector being mounted on the first surface of the PCB; wherein the first surface of the PCB has three grounding holes at one end of the PCB, the second surface has plural conductive pads, the metal member includes a ring clamping the braided layer and a grounding portion extending from the ring, the grounding portion includes three grounding fingers inserted into the three grounding holes, respectively.

An optical module includes a horizontal base plate, a lens mounted on the base plate, a fiber sleeve, and a board lock. The lens has a front end face and a rear end face corresponding to the front end face. The fiber sleeve is mated with the rear end face of the lens. The fiber sleeve has a front surface and a rear surface. The board lock is mounted at a rear of the fiber sleeve. The board lock has a strain relief base and a cover locking to the strain relief base. The strain relief base has a front wall and a pogo pin forwardly extending beyond the front wall. The fiber sleeve defines a receiving hole in the rear surface for fixing the pogo pin. The cover is retained to the base plate.

Optical module

A cable connector assembly for mating with a mating connector, including: a printed circuit board (PCB), a mating member mounded on the PCB, an insulative housing receiving the PCB, and a cable extended from the insulative housing. The PCB includes a first portion made of flexible material, a second portion bent and extended from one side of the first portion, and a third portion bent and extended from another side of the first portion. The mating member is soldered on the first portion. The cable is soldered with the second portion and the third portion.

Cable connector assembly with a shorter size and method of assembling the same

A dual orientation connector assembly for mating with a mating connector in two directions, including: an insulative housing defining a side wall, a printed circuit board (PCB) received in the housing, a mating member soldered on the PCB, a cable extending from an end of the insulative housing, and a magnetic component disposed in the insulative housing to provide a retaining force for retaining to the mating connector. The mating member includes a mounting portion received in the insulative housing, a mating portion extending out of the side wall of the insulative housing for mating with the mating connector, and a number of terminals mounted in the mating portion. The mating portion includes a first surface and an opposite second surface. The first surface and the second surface have the same number of the terminals.

Dual orientation connector assembly with interior magnetic component
