A portable information handling system interacts with a game controller through either a direct connection at a wired interface at the sides of opposing controller housings and the information handling system housing or through a bridge having a bridge housing that directly couples to the controller housing as a bridge to the information handling system, such as with a wireless interface. During a sliding coupling motion, pins of the controller housing wired interface move across pins of the bridge or information handling system wired interface. Analysis of the interface signals through a sliding coupling motion identifies the type of controller housing, such as a controller housing with game input devices or with extra functions like speaker audio and supplemental battery power.

Information handling system controller scalable interface

A keyboard with a vibration function is provided. The keyboard includes a base member, an upper cover, a basic key structure and a vibration key structure. The vibration key structure includes a control module, a vibration keycap and an isolation element. The control module is fixed on the upper cover. When the control module is triggered, a vibration key signal is generated and a vibration action is provided. The control module is covered by the vibration keycap. The vibration keycap is exposed outside the upper cover. The isolation element is arranged between the control module and the upper cover. The vibration key structure is enclosed by the isolation element, so that the energy of the vibration action from the control module is isolated.

A visual object tracking method includes the steps of: setting an object window having a target in a video image; defining a search window greater than the object window; analyzing an image pixel of the object window to generate a color histogram for defining a color filter which includes a dominant color characteristic of the target; using the color filter to generate an object template and a dominant color map in the object window and the search window respectively, the object template including a shape characteristic of the target, the dominant color map including at least one candidate block; comparing the similarity between the object template and the candidate block to obtain a probability distribution map, and using the probability distribution map to compute the mass center of the target. The method generates the probability map by the color and shape characteristics to compute the mass center.

Visual object tracking method

A keyboard device for use with a tablet personal computer includes a base body and an upper cover. The base body includes a handle and plural keys. The handle is integrally formed with the base body. The upper cover has a receptacle for accommodating the tablet personal computer. The upper cover is connected with the base body. In addition, the upper cover is rotatable with respect to the base body in order to open or close the upper cover of the keyboard device. When the upper cover of the keyboard device is opened, the tablet personal computer is stored within the receptacle, so that the user may input characters or symbols to the tablet personal computer by depressing the keys. Whereas, when the upper cover of the keyboard device is closed, the keyboard device may be carried by grasping the handle.
