An optical fiber connector includes an outer sleeve and a main casing body. The outer sleeve includes a surrounding wall and a key portion extending forwardly from the surrounding wall. The main casing body includes a wall portion defining a mounting space for receiving a portion of a mechanical transfer (MT) ferrule mounted with a plurality of optical fibers therein. The outer sleeve is detachably sleeved on the wall portion. The wall portion has two opposite outer connecting surfaces formed respectively with two keyways. The key portion engage one of the keyways. The outer sleeve is detachable from the main casing body so as to allow the key portion to engage the other one of the keyways.

Optical fiber connector

A cable arrangement device adapted to use with an optical fiber cable includes two detachably connected positioning halves defining an axial groove unit that permits the optical fiber cable to extend therethrough, and two auxiliary grooves that are diametrically opposite to each other with respect to the main groove, and two sleeves disposed detachably between the positioning halves. When the sleeves are mounted between the positioning halves, the device is suitable for a three-core fiber. When the sleeves are detached from the positioning halves, the device is suitable for a single-core fiber.

Cable arrangement device

A fiber optic adapter includes an outer casing, two coupling members for removably engaging a ferrule end of a fiber optic connector and an auxiliary member for sleeving the ferrule end therein. The auxiliary member is operable to move relative to the coupling members between a locked position, where the coupling members are adapted to engage the ferrule end for preventing separation of the ferrule end from the fiber optic adapter, and an open position, where the auxiliary member moves the coupling members to disengage from the ferrule end, thereby allowing separation of the ferrule end from the fiber optic adapter.

Fiber optic adapter

An optical fiber connector adapted to use with two optical fibers includes a base seat, a positioning member, and a joint unit. The base seat includes a tubular wall defining an axial hole and two extension walls defining an accommodation space in spatial communication with the axial hole. The positioning member is disposed in the axial hole and defines a channel permitting the optical fibers to extend therethrough. The joint unit includes two central pins and two sleeves. The central pins are adapted to be connected respectively to the optical fibers. The sleeves are sleeved respectively on the central pins and are detachably mounted to the base seat such that positions of the central pins relative to each other are fixed.

Optical fiber connector having a covered positioning member

A fiber optic adaptor assembly includes a main body that includes two parallel and spaced-apart main base walls, two lateral walls, three spaced-apart connecting grooves, and two spaced-apart connecting tongues. Each of the lateral walls is connected between the main base walls. The main base walls and the lateral walls cooperatively define an installation hole thereamong. The connecting grooves are formed in one of the lateral walls, and the connecting tongues protrude from the other one of the lateral walls. The connecting tongues are adapted to separably and respectively engage any two adjacent ones of the connecting grooves of another one of the main body.

Fiber optic adaptor assembly having interlocking mechanism

A fiber optic connector includes a positioning member formed with two installation holes and two guiding grooves, two central rods and a locking member. The locking member has two guiding portions and is operable to move relative to the positioning member between a locking position, where each of the guiding portions extends into an intersection of the corresponding guiding groove and the corresponding installation hole to engage an annular groove of the corresponding central rod for restricting movement of the central rods along the installation holes, and an open position, where the guiding portions are disengaged from the annular grooves, thereby allowing the central rods to move along the installation holes.

Fiber optic connector

A coupling device includes a socket defining a through groove and a connecting seat connected to a rear end of the socket. The connecting seat has a casing portion defining a plugging space therein, a base wall portion disposed in the casing portion and defining a through hole in spatial communication with the through groove and the plugging space, two first connecting portions respectively disposed at two lateral sides of the through hole and extending forwardly from the base wall portion to the through groove, and two second connecting portions respectively disposed at the lateral sides and extending rearwardly from the base wall portion to the plugging space. The socket and the connecting seat are formed as one piece.

Coupling device and fiber optic connector having the same

A fiber optic connector includes a plug body, a rear sleeve unit and a front sleeve unit. The plug body has first and second recesses. The rear sleeve unit is detachably sleeved around a rear part of the plug body, and has a key. The front sleeve unit is sleeved on of the plug body in front of the rear sleeve unit and detachably connected to the rear sleeve unit. The rear sleeve unit is changeable between a first position, in which the rear sleeve unit is attached to the plug body with the key being engaged with the first recess, and a second position in which the rear sleeve unit is attached to the plug body with the key being engaged with the second recess.

A fiber optic pulling grip assembly includes a sleeve unit sleeving around a cable section of a fiber optic cable and a guiding unit. The sleeve unit includes a sleeve member, an insertion tube received in a receiving space extending along the sleeve member, and a blocking member connected to the sleeve member. The guiding unit includes a fixing ring disposed between an optical fiber section and a mesh of the fiber optic cable, a rear portion connected to the sleeve member to clamp a rear end of the mesh, a front portion defining a channel for passing of the optical fiber section and the mesh, a connecting member connected to the optical fiber section and a pulling member connected to the front portion to clamp a front end of the mesh.

Fiber optic pulling grip assembly

A method of sealing an optical cable is disclosed. The optical cable includes an outer jacket defining an interior space, an optical fiber assembly disposed in the interior space, and a plurality of reinforcing filaments disposed in the interior space between the outer jacket and the optical fiber assembly. The method includes the steps of peeling off one end of the outer jacket to expose one end of the optical fiber assembly and one ends of the reinforcing filaments, and introducing an adhesive into the interior space through an opening formed in the outer jacket when the one end of the outer jacket is peeled off so as to seal the opening and to fix the positions of the reinforcing filaments and the optical fiber assembly.

Optical cable sealing method and optical cable sealing structure

A fiber optic cable splice device includes a sleeve, an inner tube received in the sleeve to allow passage of a fiber optic cable, and a limiting member coupled to the sleeve and limiting the limiting member in the sleeve. A casing is connected to the sleeve at a top end thereof, a joining portion extending sideward from a sidewall thereof, and a bent passage extending through the top end and the joining portion. A rotary connection member is rotatably positioned on the joining portion, and has a threaded plug. When the rotary connection member is rotated relative to the casing, the threaded plug is able to be threaded into a fitting device so that the fiber optic cable is connected to the fitting device.

Optical fiber splicing device

A fiber optic distribution box includes a box body and detachable mounting caps to mount fiber optic connectors to the box body. The box body has a box terminal wall formed with through holes. The detachable mounting caps are disposed on the through holes and connected detachably to the box terminal wall. Each detachable mounting cap has a hollow cap body, and a mount hole formed inside the hollow cap body. The hollow cap body includes a cap bottom surface lying on the box terminal wall, and a front inclined cap surface inclined with respect to the box terminal wall. The mount hole extends through the front inclined cap surface and the cap bottom surface to communicate with a cable reception space of the box body through the respective through hole.

Detachable mounting cap and fiber optic distribution box having the same

A detachable mounting cap includes a hollow cap body and a mount hole formed inside the hollow cap body. The hollow cap body is configured to detachably connect a box body of a fiber optic distribution box, and includes a cap bottom surface configured to lie on the box body, and a front inclined cap surface inclinedly extending upward from the cap bottom surface and configured to be inclined with respect to the box body. The mount hole extends through the front inclined cap surface and the cap bottom surface, and is configured to communicate with a through hole of the box body and to detachably mount the fiber optic connector.

A fiber optic connector includes a carrier unit and two insertion units. The carrier unit includes a carrier body that defines two spaced-apart receiving spaces extending therethrough. Each receiving space has an opening formed in one side opposite to the other receiving space. Each insertion unit is configured to have an optical fiber extending therethrough, and is removably inserted into a respective receiving space through the opening so as to be disposed in a first or second position. Each insertion unit is rotated 180 degrees to change its position from the first to the second position or vice versa for polarity reversal. A sleeve unit is removably sleeved on the carrier body and covers the openings of the receiving spaces when sleeved on the carrier body.
