The present invention relates to a method for quantitative measurement of catechol estrogen bound protein in blood sample. By detecting adduction levels of binding sites of the catechol estrogen on the protein in blood sample, the catechol estrogen bound protein in the blood sample can be detected quantitatively and a limit of quantitation can be decreased.

Method for quantitative measurement of catechol estrogen bound protein in blood sample

A hydraulic brake caliper piston/plunger tool includes a handle, a barrel with rear and front tubes, and a shaft. The handle is provided therein with a fluid reservoir and a fluid chamber, and pivotally connected with an operation lever having a plunger inserted into the fluid chamber. The shaft is attached with a piston and fitted through the rear tube, the barrel and the front tube. A return spring is fitted around the shaft in a central hole of the barrel, between the piston and the front tube. A front end of the shaft is adapted to be fitted with an accessory for a disc brake. A rear end of the shaft is adapted to be connected with a turning tool. In use, alternately depressing and releasing the operation lever enables fluid to enter the central hole of the barrel to have the piston together with the shaft moved forward.

Hydraulic brake caliper piston/plunger tool

A mold tool generally includes a base, a die assembly, a tightening element, a threaded element, and at least one shaping cap. The base defines a cutout, a first threaded hole opposite to the cutout, and a second threaded hole. The die assembly, composed of a first module and a second module, can be inserted into a receiving space of the base. The tightening element can be screwed into the second threaded hole of the base to fix the die assembly in place. The threaded element can be screwed into the first threaded hole of the base. The shaping cap can be fitted at one end of the threaded element. The die assembly defines channels of various diameters each for holding a tube of a specific diameter. The shaping cap can urge one end of a tube held in the die assembly to form a specific type of flare.

Mold tool

A caliper piston adjuster includes a body defining a passage, a push rod, a resilient member, a holding rod, a positioning stop plate, and a positioning member. The push rod is fixedly connected with a positioning cart, and mounted with the resilient member, and inserted through the passage of the body, such that one end of the resilient member contacts the positioning part fixed at the push rod. The push rod is connected with a connector and an activating disc respectively at two ends thereof. The connector is connected with the holding rod. The positioning member is inserted through an opening of the positioning stop plate to be connected to the body. With the aid of the resilient member, the caliper piston adjuster can adjust the piston of a caliper cylinder more easily by rotating the holding rod.

Wheel cylinder adjuster

A wheel cylinder adjuster includes a rotary unit and a driving unit connected with the rotary unit. The rotary unit includes a rotary disk, a fixing member, two positioning members, a resilient ring, a restriction member and a clip. The rotary disk has a guide groove designed in a shape containing two semi-ovals. Two stepped slots are defined through the fixing member and the positioning members extend through the two stepped slots. Each positioning member has a guide tip which is located in the guide groove. The resilient ring is mounted to the positioning members and the tubular portion. The rotary disk is rotated and the guide tips of the positioning members more in the stepped slots so as to adjust the distance between the positioning members so as to be operated to different sizes of the wheel cylinders.

A brake cylinder adjustment assembly for adjusting brake cylinders of different sizes and includes a rotation unit and a driving unit which is connected with the rotation unit. The rotation unit includes a rotatable disk, a fixed disk, at least two positioning rods and a clip. The rotatable disk has at least two curved slots and the fixed disk has at least two slide slots. The at least two positioning rods are engaged with the at least two slide slots and the at least two curved slots. The brake cylinder adjustment assembly uses a single driving unit and single rotation unit to adjust the left and right brake cylinders of different sizes.

An oil pipe stopper includes an upper clamping body, a lower clamping body, and an elastic member. The upper clamping body has a central portion with an upper post, two downwardly slanting portions, and two clamping portions. The clamping portions of the upper clamping body are provided with a first stopping member and an engagement groove. The lower clamping body has a central portion with a lower post, two upwardly slanting portions, and two clamping portions. The lower post is telescopically connected with the upper post. The clamping portions of the lower clamping body are provided with a second stopping member and a third stopping member. The downwardly and upwardly slanting portions are crossed such that the first stopping member faces the second stopping member while the engagement groove faces the third stopping member. The elastic member is mounted between the upper clamping body and the lower clamping body.

Oil pipe stopper

A wheel cylinder adjuster includes plural actuating discs able to match different-sized wheel cylinders, and a driving wrench able to be jointed with the actuating disc. The driving wrench has two ends of its shank respectively provided with right-handed threads and left-handed threads on the surface, having a crosswise insert hole respectively bored at an outer side of the right-handed threads and of the left-handed threads, and the shank has two ends respectively protruding outward to form a positioning rod to be inserted in the insert hole of the actuating disc. Two positioning sleeves are respectively combined with the right-handed threads and the left-handed threads at the two ends of the shank. A holding rod is inserted in either one of the two insert holes at two ends of the driving wrench, and a positioning stop plate is provided to fix one of the two positioning sleeves.

The present invention relates to a hydrophilic surface structure of the non-hydrophilic substrate and the manufacturing method for using the same. The hydrophilic substrate surface structure is fabricated by forming an amphiphilic polymer layer, a cross-linked stacking layer, and a hydrophilic layer in sequence on the surface of a non-hydrophilic substrate. For example, the hydrophobic surface of poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) can be made from hydrophobic to hydrophilic and the hydrophilicity can be retained for a long period of time and resist protein adsorption. The hydrophilic thin films give long term stability to the PDMS surface by resisting hydrophobicity recovery, which is the major problem with PDMS. The disclosed method can further be used in the immobilization of protein and other molecules. This method can also be used for modifying other substrates which suffer problems of surface instability.

Long-term hydrophilic modification of PDMS substrate and method for manufacturing the same

A safe tool assembly comprises an assembly part including a body, on the two ends of which is disposed at least one connecting tab having tools attached thereon, provided at least two through apertures at the side surfaces thereof individually and each having two small-diametered insertion bores fixed on the two sides thereof, wherein the two insertion bores are opposite to each other, and between each of the insertion bores and each of the through apertures is provided a stopping rim; two protective covers assembled to the two sides of the assembly part and including at least one pillar affixed therein, at the front end of which is mounted a locking tab having recesses secured therein, and including two gaps arranged on the two sidewalls thereof, hence by engaging the locking tabs with the stopping rims, the protective covers may be opened and stored stably, operating the desired tool safely.

Safe tool assembly

The present invention provides an integrated microfluidic electrospray chip system and analytical method thereof, characterized in which the proteinase reaction, solid-phase extraction mechanism, electrophoresis and mass spectrometry are integrated into one system. This system allows continuous, fast and on-line detection and identification of a sample, where the sample is firstly hydrolyzed and desalted, and then introduced into the microfluidic electrospray chip to undergo electrophoresis. Finally, the separated sample is introduced into a mass spectrometer by means of electrospray for continuous detection and identification. This system applies mainly in the identification of biochemical substances, such as proteins.

Microfluidic chip system integrated with nano-electrospray interface and method using thereof

The present invention relates to a sample analysis system with chip-based electrophoresis device, particularly, the chip electrophoresis is connected to the dynamic flow-based auto-sampling device to introduce the sample into the chip-based electrophoresis device. By utilizing the derivatization biochemistry method to have a surface modification on the sample loading channel, it prevents the sample from being adhered to the wall of the sample loading channel, and hence increases the sample loading rate, reduces cross-contamination of samples and performs specific bio-reaction by using the immobilization of matter including antigen, antibody, protein, or enzyme. This invention makes use of the continuous split flow and electric voltage control to work with the detecting unit, signal collecting unit, and signal processing unit so that the sample undergoes a timely, fast, continuous analysis without having interference from the sample of other time.
