A LED swivel reading lamp having an easily user adjustable sized light beam for use in vehicles such as automobiles, aircraft, and the like.

Adjustable beam lamp

An adjustable light beam device for an aimable vehicle lamp assembly is provided. The adjustable light beam device includes a lamp housing having a channel member with an outer portion and an inner portion. A tube component is positioned within the interior portion of the channel member. The tube component is adjustably movable along the inner portion of the channel member.

An FFC-connection assembly includes an electrical component for a motor vehicle having an electrical tracing, at least one access window, a molded flange, and at least one hook. An FFC lies over the electrical tracing, mates the electrical tracing through the access window, and has a skived end at point of contact through the access window. The hook holds the FFC in place. The molded flange folds over onto the electrical component, is held down by a snap, and includes at least one depression rib so as to apply pressure against the FFC and the electrical tracing.

FFC-connection assembly

An aimable lamp assembly is provided having a bezel, with an opening, in which the bezel is secured to a backplate. A housing assembly having a front housing and a back housing is disposed between the backplate and the bezel. A light source is disposed within the housing assembly. The back housing is connected to the backplate through a ball and a socket joint and the front housing partially protrudes through the opening in the bezel.

Aimable vehicle lamp assembly

A lamp with connector housing for motor vehicles comprising a push/push switch, a light source, and a backplate with a 3-way connector. The backplate with a 3-way connector further comprises a connection between point ground and point door and a connection between point ground and point B. This lamp with connector housing is twisted into the motor vehicle headliner with no screws or other fasteners, it has a compact size, and only uses one light source to illuminate the interior of a motor vehicle.

The assist handle includes an elongated handle body having opposed ends and an attachment portion extending from each of the opposed ends. Each of the attachment portions is adapted to be attached to the surface of the vehicle interior. The handle body carries a light unit, which is operable to provide illumination to the vehicle interior. Preferably, the handle body is adapted to be hingedly attached to the vehicle interior surface and the light unit is incorporated as a part of the handle body.
