An optical fingerprint recognition device includes a light-emitting diode (LED) array and a fingerprint sensing device. The LED array includes a central LED area and an edge LED area, and configured to display a light source pattern in response to a fingerprint sensing request. The light source pattern includes a central portion and a surrounding portion. During displaying the light source pattern, a plurality of red display subpixels of the central LED area are not illuminating and a plurality of red display subpixels of the edge LED area are illuminating. The fingerprint sensing device generates a first fingerprint image according to a plurality of first sensing signals obtained from a plurality of first sensing pixel area, and the first fingerprint image is adapted to be used for examining whether a finger which triggers the fingerprint sensing request is real or fake.

Optical fingerprint recognition device and fingerprint sensing device thereof

A fingerprint recognition device is provided. The fingerprint recognition device includes a fingerprint sensing circuit and an image processing circuit. The fingerprint sensing circuit is configured to perform a first fingerprint sensing operation to obtain a first fingerprint image. The image processing circuit is coupled to the fingerprint sensing circuit and configured to generate a de-moire fingerprint image according to a moire pattern image and the first fingerprint image and perform a fingerprint recognition process according to the de-moire fingerprint image.

A fingerprint sensing device including a plurality of pixel blocks is provided. The pixel blocks are arranged in an array. Each of the pixel blocks includes a conversion gain. At least two of the conversion gains are different, and the pixel block located in a central location of the array has a minimum conversion gain.

Fingerprint sensing device

The optical sensor device including a sensor layer, a microlens layer and a filter layer is provided. The sensor layer includes a plurality of sensor areas, and is configured to sense a multi-wavelength light from a finger. The microlens layer includes a plurality of microlenses arranged in an array, and is disposed on the sensor layer. Each of the microlenses focuses the multi-wavelength light on a corresponding one of the sensor areas. The filter layer is disposed between the sensor layer and the microlens layer, and configured to filter the multi-wavelength light to generate a plurality of lights with different wavelengths. In addition, the fingerprint sensor apparatus including the foregoing optical sensor device is also provided.

A color filter array, for an image sensing device, includes a plurality of filter patterns. Each filter pattern includes at least one first filter, corresponding to a first wavelength range of a first color; at least one second filter, corresponding to a second wavelength range of a second color; at least one third filter, corresponding to a third wavelength range of a third color; at least one fourth filter, corresponding to a first infrared wavelength range, wherein the first infrared wavelength range is an intersection of the first wavelength range and the second wavelength range; and at least one fifth filter, corresponding to a second infrared wavelength range, wherein the second infrared wavelength range is an intersection of the first wavelength range and the third wavelength range.

Color filter array and image receiving method thereof

An image sensor including a plurality of sensing pixels, a plurality of micro-lenses disposed on the sensing pixels and a plurality of first light distributing elements disposed between the sensing pixels and the micro-lenses is provided. Each of the first light distributing elements includes a first refractive index pattern and a second refractive index pattern surrounding the first refractive index pattern. The refractive index of the first refractive index pattern is larger than the refractive index of the second refractive index pattern.
