A manufacturing method of a color filter including following steps is provided. First, a partition is formed on a substrate to form a plurality of pixel regions on the substrate. Next, a color pigment is provided along a continuous pigment-providing route, so as to form the color pigment on a sequence of pixel regions among the plurality of pixel regions and the partition. The method mentioned above can prevent the unfilled phenomenon of the pigment around the corners of the pixel region. Besides, a liquid crystal display panel having the color filter is also provided.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel including a color filter on array (COA) substrate, an opposite substrate, and a liquid crystal layer is provided. The opposite substrate has a common electrode, a plurality of main spacers, a plurality of spacer stages disposed on the common electrode and protruding toward the COA substrate, and a plurality of sub-spacers disposed on the common electrode. The main spacers are disposed on the spacer stages to maintain a cell gap between the COA substrate and the opposite substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the COA substrate and the opposite substrate. The above-mentioned LCD panel is an LCD panel with hybrid spacers having the main spacers and the sub-spacers.

A method for jetting color ink includes determining an initial voltage value of a nozzle, wherein the initial voltage value corresponds to a predetermined jetting volume of the nozzle; determining a maximum adjusting voltage value of the nozzle, wherein the maximum adjusting voltage value may correspond to an allowable error value of the predetermined jetting volume; combining the initial voltage value with an adjusting voltage value to obtain a jetting voltage, wherein the adjusting voltage value may be randomly selected between zero to the maximum adjusting voltage value; and jetting the color ink from the nozzle according to the jetting voltage onto a sub-pixel in a pixel.

Method for jetting color ink

A manufacturing method of a color filter comprising the following steps is provided. At first, a transparent substrate is provided. Next, a black matrix is formed on the transparent substrate to define a plurality of pixel areas on the transparent substrate. Then, an isolation layer is formed and patterned on the black matrix and then Red/Green/Blue color filter inks are filled into each of the pixel areas separately by inkjet printing. After that, the color filter inks are dried to form color filter units and optionally the isolation layer can further be patterned to form plenty of photo spacers on the black matrix. The isolation layers prevented the color filter inks from spilling out of the pixel areas and color mixing problems during color filter inkjet fabrication. Besides, it is characterized that the color filter units can be formed with even thickness.

Thin film transistor array substrate structures and fabrication method thereof

A method of forming a TFT-LCD device with a rough pixel electrode is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps. First, a photosensitive layer is formed on the transparent insulating substrate. A defocused exposing procedure is then performed by applying a mask with plural independent spot patterns and a contact hole pattern to define patterns on the photosensitive layer. Notedly the distance between two adjacent independent spot patterns is smaller than the resolution of exposure system. Thus the area of photosensitive layer corresponding to independent spot patterns is exposed incompletely. Then the photosensitive layer is developed to remove partial photosensitive layer to form wave-like surfaces thereon. Next a pixel electrode is formed on the photosensitive layer to have rising and falling surfaces with the photosensitive layer to serve as a rough diffuser member.
