The present disclosure includes systems, methods, and computer-readable mediums for discovering capabilities of local and remote hardware (HW) accelerator cards. A local hardware (HW) accelerator card may provide, via a communication interface, a listing of acceleration services from the local HW accelerator card. The listing of acceleration services may include a first set of acceleration services provided by one or more accelerators of the local HW accelerator card and a second set of acceleration services provided by one or more accelerators of a remote HW accelerator card. A workload instruction defining a workload for processing by at least one of the acceleration services of the second set of acceleration services may be received from a processor of a computing device. The workload instruction may be forwarded to the remote HW accelerator card.

Hardware accelerator service aggregation

The present disclosure includes systems, methods, and computer-readable mediums for discovering capabilities of a hardware (HW) accelerator card. A processor may communicate a request for a listing of acceleration services to a HW accelerator card connected to the processor via the communication interface. The HW accelerator card may retrieve the listing from memory and provide a response to the processor that includes a listing of the HW acceleration services provided by the HW accelerator card.

Hardware accelerator service discovery

At a server, during one or more first time periods, event data is received from a first client with respect to one or more events that occur at the first client. The event data is sent by the first client under control of a first application resident on a removable storage device. At the server, during one or more second time periods, event data is received from a second client with respect to one or more events that occur at the second client. The event data is sent by the second client under control of the first application resident on the removable storage device. The first and second time periods are non-overlapping.

Recording client events using application resident on removable storage device

A network access device directs an electronic device, distinct from the network access device, to display graphical user interface, the graphical user interface comprising a network access self-identification user interface. The network access device obtains a selection of a user identification option, through the self-identification user interface. In accordance with a determination that the selected user identification option corresponds to a registered user (e.g., a registered user in a research panel), of a previously defined set of registered users of the network access device, the network access device enables access to a communications network, in accordance with the application of one or more logging rules corresponding to the selected user. Further, in accordance with a determination that the selected user identification option corresponds to an unregistered, guest user, the network access device enables access to the communications network, without the application of any logging rules.

System and method for tracking network traffic of users in a research panel

At a client, a first application is executed to identify event information with respect to events that occur at the client, including events associated with execution of one or more other applications resident on the client. The first application communicates with a second application, also executing on the client, to transmit the event information to a communications network, wherein the second application and not the first application is in communication with the communications network. In some embodiments, the second application is a browser application. Optionally, the first application installs a browser loadable object in the browser application, and the browser loadable object registers callback information with the first application. Later, the first application uses the callback information to communicate a network request to the browser loadable object.

Browser based event information delivery mechanism using application resident on removable storage device

A system, computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for tracking network traffic of users in a research panel are presented. A packet for a network device coupled to the network access device is received. An indicia corresponding to a presumptive user of the network device is obtained, where the presumptive user includes a member of a set of known users. One or more logging rules is applied to the network device, where the one or more applied logging rules correspond to the obtained indicia. Information relating to the packet is stored when the packet satisfies at least one of the logging rules applied to the network device.
