The present disclosure relates to a conductive Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) electrolyte composition that is compatible with Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC). The conductive SOFC electrolyte composition comprises gadolinium doped ceria, glass composite and additives. The conductive SOFC electrolyte composition is physically and chemically compatible with the LTCC. A process for preparing a conductive SOFC electrolyte composition is also provided in the present disclosure.

Conductive solid oxide fuel cell electrolyte composition and a method for preparing the same

The present disclosure provides a glass ceramic composite electrolyte comprising gadolinium doped ceria and glass composite with desired ionic conductivity in the temperature range of 400 to 600&#xb0; C., suitable for applications in solid oxide fuel cells. Also disclosed is a process for the preparation of the glass ceramic composite electrolyte.

Glass ceramic composite electrolyte for low temperature solid oxide fuel cell

A low temperature co-fired ceramic substrate miniature fuel cell and manufacturing method therefor is disclosed. The method can be used for rapid, flexible and precise fabrication of gas distribution network as well as for a conventional membrane electrode assembly, for providing high power density. The construction results in a light weight assembly offering 5 optimum cavity for robust set-up and planar series configuration as compared to other established methods of fabrication.

Low temperature co-fired ceramic substrate miniature fuel cell and manufacturing therefor

A method for forming track(s) on low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) substrate, the method comprising the steps of, forming a layer of coating material on an operative face of the LTCC substrate, disposing a stencil on the layer of coating material thereby covering a selected portion of the layer of coating material while leaving exposed a portion of the layer of coating material corresponding to the track(s) to be formed and forming an assembly of the LTCC substrate, the layer of coating material and the stencil, eroding the exposed portion of the layer of coating material by propelling an abrasive material using a blasting gun towards the assembly on the face on which the layer of coating material is formed and the stencil is disposed and separating the stencil from the abraded assembly, wherein the abrasive material has a composition that is compatible with that of the LTCC substrate.

Non-conductive substrate with tracks formed by sand blasting

Conductive polymer blends of linear alternating polymer of carbon monoxide and at least one ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon with conductive polymer are disclosed as is a method of preparation thereof. The blends display excellent conductivity even at substantially lower loading of conductive additive.

Conductive polymer blend and a process for the preparation thereof

A process for preparation of alternating polyesteramides comprises reacting carbon monoxide, an aminohydroxy compound and an aromatic polyhalide having at least two halide atoms covalently bonded to an aromatic ring. The said process is conducted in the presence of a solvent, a catalyst and a base.

Process for the preparation of a polyesteramide

Polyesters may be prepared by reacting an amyl diiodide, an aliphatic or aryl diol and carbon monoxide in presence of a catalyst and an organic base. The process is preferentially carried out in a solvent. The catalyst is a heterogeneous catalyst containing a metal selected from a group containing Palladium, Platinum, Nickel and Cobalt. Following the formation of polyester, the catalyst can be easily separated and efficiently recycled.
