This disclosure relates to data security and cryptography. In one aspect, a method includes updating a user interface of a client device to present user interface controls that enable a user to specify data privacy settings that define how entities collect, store, and use data of the user. The data security system receives a request to modify a data privacy setting for one or more entities from the client device based on user interaction with one or more of the user interface controls. The request includes an ephemeral user identifier for the user and an attestation token. The data security system validates the request using at least the ephemeral user identifier and the attestation token. The data security system transmits data instructing the entity to modify usage of the user data based on the modified given data privacy setting to each of the one or more entities.

Cryptographically secure request verification

This disclosure relates to data security and cryptography. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a request for a subscription token for a given user by a data security system from a publisher computing system of a publisher. The request includes user identification information provided to the publisher by the given user when subscribing to electronic content of the publisher. The data security system generates the subscription token which includes a set of data that includes a first encrypted user identifier generated by encrypting a first user identifier for the given user using an encryption key of the data security system, and, for each of one or more content platforms, an attachment element that includes a second encrypted user identifier generated by encrypting a second user identifier for the given user using an encryption key of the content platform and transmitting the subscription token to the publisher computing system.

In some embodiments, a method is provided, the method comprising: establishing, at a first end-point device, a telecommunication channel with a second end-point device; subsequent to establishing the telecommunication channel, and prior to a termination of the telecommunication channel, detecting, using the first end-point device, a voice command that includes a keyword; and in response to detecting the voice command, causing information associated with an IoT device that corresponds to the keyword to be transmitted to the second end-point device.

The present disclosure is generally directed to the generation of domain-specific, voice-activated systems in interconnected networks. The system can receive input signals that are detected at a client device. The input signals can be voice-based input signals, text-based input signals, image-based input signals, or other type of input signals. A method is described for improving the accuracy of a transcription generated by an automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine. A personal vocabulary is maintained that includes replacement words. The replacement words in the personal vocabulary are obtained from personal data associated with a user. A transcription is received of an audio recording. The transcription is generated by an ASR engine using an ASR vocabulary and includes a transcribed word that represents a spoken word in the audio recording. Data is received that is associated with the transcribed word. A replacement word from the personal vocabulary is identified, which is used to re-score the transcription and replace the transcribed word.

Systems and methods for improving the accuracy of a transcription using auxiliary data such as personal data

A voicemail computer system transcribes a voicemail message into text that is presented to a calling party for approval. A calling party is able to approve, disapprove or edit a voicemail message prior to delivery to one or more called parties. The voicemail computer system may analyze a voicemail message to detect errors, omissions, or potentially offensive words. The voicemail computer may analyze a voicemail message to make suggestions as to tone, content or information contained within the voicemail message. The calling party can edit the voicemail message or approve it prior to providing a notification to one or more called parties that they have received the voicemail message.

Voicemail preview and editing system

Techniques are described for providing relevant information to users (e.g., information that is at least potentially of interest to the users). Relevant information for a user may be automatically determined based on a determined context of the user and/or on a request for that information from the user. For example, voice-based information may be obtained from a user in one or more ways, and then analyzed to identify requests or other indications of information of interest and/or to otherwise determine a context of the user that corresponds to potential information of interest. Relevant information for a user may be provided to the user in various ways, such as via a voice-based response during a telephone call and/or via one or more electronic messages sent to the user (e.g., via emails, instant messages, paging messages, SMS or other text messages, etc.).

Techniques are described for performing actions for users based at least in part on spoken information, such as spoken voice-based information received from the users during telephone calls. The described techniques include categorizing spoken information obtained from a user in one or more ways, and performing actions on behalf of the user related to the categorized information. For example, in some situations, spoken information obtained from a user is analyzed to identify one or more spoken information items (e.g., words, phrases, sentences, etc.) supplied by the user, and to generate corresponding textual representations (e.g., via automated speech-to-text techniques). One or more actions may then be taken regarding the identified information items, including to categorize the items by adding textual representations of the spoken information items to one or more of multiple predefined lists or other collections of information that are specific to or otherwise available to the user.

Performing actions for users based on spoken information

A facilitation and enhancement of interactions between a caller and a called party, such as a call center. The enhancement of interactions between a mobile device caller and a call center is by the communication of the mobile device caller's location and/or preferences to the call center. The communication can be in the form of a data structure stored on a computer-readable storage device, which may be transmitted from the mobile device caller to a call center controller. The data structure contains a caller identification entry, which allows the call center to match the data structure with a caller. In addition, a caller context entry associates additional data to the caller identification entry. The additional data includes at least one preference and/or location of the caller. Processor-based methods are disclosed to create, transmit, and/or utilize the data structure.
