A device for shedding warp yarns in a weaving loom, such as a jet loom, comprises: cranks supported on machine frames of the loom rotatable in synchronization with the weaving operation of the loom; synchronizing levers swingably pivoted; connecting rods connecting the cranks with synchronizing levers so that the rotational movement of the cranks is transmitted as a swinging motion of the synchronizing levers; synchronizing links linked with the synchronizing levers; rocking levers linked with the synchronizing links so that the rotational movement of the cranks is transmitted as a swinging motion of the rocking levers through the swinging motion of the synchronizing levers; and heddle frames, for the upper and lower warp yarns, operated by the rocking levers. The synchronizing levers and synchronizing links are so arranged that, when the connecting rods are located at their dead points which correspond to the uppermost or lowermost position of the heddle frame, one of linking pivots linking synchronizing levers with the synchronizing links is near a line formed by the synchronizing levers and links when they are at their dead points. As a result, the time period wherein the warp yarns serve as upper warp yarns is made different from the time period wherein the warp yarns serve as lower warp yarns, and a difference in tension is created in the upper and lower warp yarns when the beating operation is effected.

Device for shedding warp yarns in a weaving loom

The disclosed doffing apparatus is for use in a spinning machine including a mechanism for winding a yarn in the form of a cheese or package, a device for cutting the yarn fed to the winding mechanism when the cheese becomes full and an air suction device for sucking the cut yarn which is continuously fed even after cutting. This doffing apparatus comprises an operation member which is movably positioned in the vicinity of the air suction device and cutting device so that the operation member is operatively interconnected to the air suction device and cutting device, and opening of the air suction device and operation of the cutting device are performed by the movement of the operation member. In this doffing apparatus, release of a full cheese from the winding mechanism also can be performed by this operation member.

Doffing apparatus in spinning machine

A system for transporting cheeses produced by one spinning machinery into a container located in a predetermined position near the end of the spinning machinery is disclosed. The system comprises a first conveyer extending along the major length of the spinning machinery to receive the doffed cheeses thereon directly from the spinning machinery, and a second conveyor extending between the end of the first conveyer and the container to receive and transport the cheeses from the first conveyer to the container. The second conveyer is driven at a higher speed than the first conveyer to allow the cheeses to be automatically contained in the container which has an inner diameter slightly larger than an outer diameter of the cheese in a manner which allows the bobbins of the cheeses to be stacked in end-to-end relationship.

System for transporting cheeses produced by spinning machinery

A method of automatically piecing up a yarn in an open-end spinning machine by rotating the draw off rollers and winding drum in a direction opposite to their normal rotating directions; rotating the feed rollers according to a predetermined program so that the feed rollers begin to rotate after an end of the yarn is moved back into the spinning rotor where the moved back yarn is pieced up with the newly spun yarn; rotating both the draw off rollers and the winding drum in their normal rotating direction, and starting the traverse motion of the traverse guide, which takes place after the pieced joint reaches a contacting line formed between the winding drum and the cheese. By utilizing this method and machine, the number of yarn breakages occuring during starting operation is decreased.

Method of automatically piecing up a yarn in an open-end spinning

An apparatus for transporting yarn packages wound on cylindrical tubes from a process where the yarn packages are produced by textile machines to a subsequent process without touching any yarn layer thereof. A conveyer belt is disposed along the lengthwise direction of the above-mentioned textile machine so as to receive the yarn packages from the textile machine and the yarn packages are received by respective receiving rods which are utilized for carrying the yarn packages to the subsequent process. An auxiliary device for regulating the lengthwise direction of the tube of each yarn package in a condition of alignment with the receiving rod is disposed between the conveyer belt and the position where the receiving rod is capable of receiving the yarn package.

Apparatus for transporting yarn packages produced by a textile machine

A yarn winding mechanism includes a reference point through which the yarn always passes during yarn piecing-up and normal winding operations, a pair of yarn taking-out rollers disposed above the reference point, and a traversing device from which the yarn is wound onto a cone cheese. In order to cause the winding mechanism to soon begin and then continue the normal winding operation after completion of the yarn piecing-up, a device for compensating changes in yarn tension is disposed between the traversing device and the yarn taking-out rollers with a yarn guide surface extending generally parallel to the axis of the taking-out roller, and the upper taking-out roller is formed with a yarn catch in one end face edge thereof on the larger diameter side of the cone cheese, the yarn catch being arranged in an optimum position with respect to the parallelly extending surface of the tension compensating device and the reference point.

Yarn winding mechanism in spinning machine

A textile machine made by assembling a plurality of unit textile machines. Each unit textile machine is provided with a plurality of unit machines, and each unit machine is provided with a yarn package forming mechanism. Each unit textile machine is provided with a unit conveyer belt disposed along a longitudinal direction of the unit textile machine at a position adjacent to the yarn package forming mechanisms. When the unit textile machines are assembled as one body, their unit conveyer belts are aligned and form a combined conveyer belt. At least one step is provided between any two adjacent unit conveyer belts or a unit conveyer belt of a unit textile machine and an auxiliary conveyer belt mounted on a head stock of the assembled textile machine. So as to always maintain the assembled conveyer belt in a clean condition, a cleaning device may be disposed at a position between two adjacent unit conveyer belts.

A yarn package transportation vehicle comprises a turnable table having a plurality of cylindrical containers arranged in circle thereon. Yarn packages produced by a spinning machinery are canistered in the containers. The vehicle is positioned adjacent to one end of the spinning machinery so that one of the canisters is set in a canistering position in which the canister receives the yarn packages therein. When one container is fully loaded with the yarn packages, adjacent container is readily brought into the canistering position by turning the table a predetermined angle.

Means for transporting yarn packages produced by spinning machinery

An automatic method and apparatus is furnished for transporting yarn packages formed on the cylindrical tubes by a conveyer belt disposed adjacently along a textile machine or a group of textile machines and for transferring the yarn packages from the conveyer belt to receiving rods of a transporting means. In the apparatus, an auxiliary device for correctly transferring the yarn packages from the conveyer belt to the transporting means is satisfactorily utilized.

Method for transporting textile yarn packages

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transferring yarn packages doffed from a textile machine provided with a conveyer belt disposed along the longitudinal direction thereof, to a container. The yarn packages are carried to one end of the conveyer and then dropped into the container positioned at a receiving position below and next to the end of the conveyer. The dropping distance from the end portion of the carrying surface of the conveyer to the surface for receiving yarn packages in the container is always maintained at a substantially predetermined distance which is larger than the width L of one package, but smaller than the width of two packages.
