A method may include: introducing a silane based aqueous soluble resin into a wellbore, wherein the silane based aqueous soluble resin comprises a glycidyl alkoxy silane containing resin and an amino alkoxy silane hardener. The silane based aqueous soluble resin may include 3-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxy silane and n-(3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl)ethylenediamine.

In-situ aerogel type hydraulic cement composition for subterranean applications

A method may comprise: introducing a treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation wherein the treatment fluid comprises a base fluid; a carbonate compound, wherein the carbonate compound at least partially plugs a zone in the subterranean formation; and an acid; and diverting at least a portion of the treatment fluid and/or a subsequently introduced fluid away from the zone.

Diversion using solid particulates

Disclosed herein is a degradable diverter material having a urea compound. In particular, the degradable diverter material may be a particulate with each individual particle being a nanocompo site of a urea compound and clay. The degradable diverter material may be introduced into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. The degradable diverter material may then be allowed to divert at least a portion of fluid present downhole, the fluid being introduced from the surface or already present dowhole. The degradable diverter material can then be allowed to at least partially degrade.

In various embodiments, the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation. Silane-based tackifiers for treatment of subterranean formations

Methods for treating a zone of a subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore comprising: (A) forming a treatment fluid comprising: (i) an aqueous continuous phase; (ii) a first chemical having: (a) a single epoxy group; and (b) at least one alkoxy group on a silicon atom, wherein the first chemical is water soluble or dissolves with hydrolysis in the aqueous continuous phase; (iii) a second chemical having an amine group, wherein the second chemical is water soluble or dissolves with hydrolysis in the aqueous continuous phase; and (B) introducing the treatment fluid through the wellbore into the zone of the subterranean formation.

One-step consolidation treatment

Methods for treating a zone of a subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore comprising: (A) introducing an acidizing fluid into the zone of the subterranean formation; (B) forming a treatment fluid comprising: (i) a first chemical having: (a) a single epoxy group; and (b) at least one alkoxy group on a silicon atom, wherein the first chemical is water soluble or dissolves with hydrolysis in an aqueous phase; and (ii) a second chemical having an amine group, wherein the second chemical is water soluble or dissolves with hydrolysis in an aqueous phase; and (C) introducing the treatment fluid through the wellbore into the zone of the subterranean formation. In various embodiments, the treatment fluid has a viscosity of less than 5 cP measured at a shear rate of 511 sec.

Acidizing with silane treatment to control fines migration in a well

A method of treating a subterranean formation including introducing a preflush solution comprising a first aqueous base fluid and a surfactant onto the face of a fracture in a subterranean formation with particulates in the fracture; introducing a stabilizing composition onto the fracture face of the formation and onto the particulates proximate the fracture face, the composition including a second aqueous-based fluid; a silane-based resin; and a silane-based curing agent; allowing the stabilizing composition to consolidate the particulates proximate the fracture face, thereby stabilizing the fracture face and proximate particulates in the fracture. A method includes introducing a conformance treatment fluid into at least a portion of a subterranean formation, said treatment fluid including: an aqueous-based fluid; a silane-based resin; and a silane-based curing agent; and allowing the conformance treatment fluid to at least partially seal the pores of the formation.

Methods and compositions for stabilizing fracture faces during hydraulic fracturing treatments

The present disclosure relates to a well treatment fluid comprising finger millet, a breaker package, and a continuous aqueous phase. The present disclosure also relates to a method for treating at least a portion of a subterranean well comprising forming an aqueous treatment fluid comprising (i) finger millet, (ii) a breaker package comprising at least one breaker, and (iii) a continuous aqueous phase; and introducing the treatment fluid into at least a portion of the subterranean well.

Method involving consolidation compositions comprising an aqueous-based fluid, a silane-based resin, a silane-based amine curing agent, and a delaying agent. The silane-based resin is an epoxy-functionalized alkoxysilane selected from the group consisting of: (3 glycidoxypropyl)trimethoxysilane, (3 glycidoxypropyl)triethoxysilane, 5,6 epoxyhexyltriethoxysilane, (3 glycidoxypropyl)methyldiethoxysilane, (3 glycidoxypropyl)methyldimethoxysilane, and (3 glycidoxypropyl)dimethylethoxysilane. The delaying agent is selected from the group consisting of: methyltrichlorosilane, dimethyldichlorosilane, trimethylchlorosilane, and any combination thereof.

Composition for stabilizing unconsolidated formation and fines agglomeration

A method of treating a zone of a subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore, the method including the steps of: (a) forming a treatment fluid comprising: (i) water; (ii) a strong acid); (iii) a water-soluble polymer having at least one functional group that can be crosslinked with aluminum(III); (iv) a water-soluble aluminum carboxylate; and (v) a complexion agent for calcium ions; wherein the pH of the treatment fluid is less than the pH required for the aluminum to crosslink the polymer to form a crosslinked gel; (b) introducing the treatment fluid through the wellbore into the zone; and (c) allowing time for the strong acid in the treatment fluid to spend in the formation such that the pH of the fluid increases sufficiently for the aluminum of the aluminum carboxylate to crosslink the polymer.
