A seat slide rail comprising a lower stationary rail having, defined therein, a connecting region for allowing one of said at least two connection portions of said powered drive mechanism to be connected therewith; said upper rail being configured such that the upper portion thereof has an outer surface and an inner hollow region defined inwardly and longitudinally thereof; wherein said outer surface of said upper rail has a connecting region for allowing connection therewith of a selected one of: said at least one connecting portion of said manual lock mechanism; and another of said at least two connection portions of said powered drive mechanism, wherein said inner hollow region of said upper rail allows installation therein of a selected one of: said at least one longitudinally extending operative element of said manual lock mechanism; and said at least one longitudinally extending operative element of said powered drive mechanism.

Seat slide rail

Structure of vehicle seat with lifter wherein the lifter, including lifter link elements, is operatively provided between a first element provided to vehicle seat and a second element adapted for connection with a floor of vehicle. The first and second elements are each of double wall structure having two spaced-apart walls. The lifter link elements are rotatably connected with the first and second elements by first and second pins, such that one portion of the lifter link elements is in a slidable contact with the two spaced-apart walls of first element, with the first pins passing through that one portion of lifter link elements and those two walls of first element, while another portion of the lifter link elements is in a slidable contact with the two spaced-apart walls of second element, with the second pins passing through that another portion of lifter link elements and those two walls of the second element.

Structure vehicle seat with lifter

A load detection structure in a vehicle seat having a slide rail device provided therewith, which basically comprises a generally oblong block member having a rigid yet resiliently deformable property and a strain gauge attached tight thereon. The block member extends along a part of the slide rail device, such that the deflectable portion thereof is operatively connected with the vehicle seat, while the base portion thereof is fixedly connected with that part of the slide rail device. Hence, a load applied to the seat causes deflection of the deflectable portion of block member, in response to which, the strain gauge detects an amount of such deflection and determines a weight of occupant on the seat.
