A prosthetic valve, solving the technical problem of an existing prosthetic valve, when implanted in a certain valve site, not being adaptive to the physiological anatomy condition of the heart, being difficult to mount and fix properly and being easy to become displaced, and consequently affecting the function of the valve. The prosthetic valve comprises an annular frame () which has a mesh structure and can radially expand to deform; a connection line () is provided on the frame (); the prosthetic valve is connected and fixed to an anatomical structure of a mounting position of a human body by means of the connection line (); the connection line () surrounds the outside of the frame () to form several connection portions which extend out along the radial direction of the frame (); the space surrounded by the connection portions can receive the thickness of the anatomical structure. The prosthetic valve is connected and fixed by means of the connection line () to an anatomical structure of a mounting position in a human body, e.g. a vessel wall, being mounted stably and being applicable to a patient on whom a valve replacement surgery is difficult to perform, e.g. a pulmonary artery stenosis patient.

Prosthetic valve and prosthetic valve implanting method

A device for treating regurgitation of a tricuspid valve (). The device comprises a tricuspid valve plug () capable of compressing and expanding and a tricuspid valve plug fixing device used for anchoring the tricuspid valve plug () to an orifice of the tricuspid valve (). The tricuspid valve plug () is provided with an inflow end () and an opposite outflow end (), and a prosthetic valve () capable of being opened and closed is disposed in the tricuspid valve plug (). When the tricuspid valve () is closed, the prosthetic valve () is automatically closed, and when the tricuspid valve () is opened, the prosthetic valve () is automatically opened. The device for treating regurgitation of a tricuspid valve () and the implantation method therefor help to treat regurgitation of a tricuspid valve and do not block the flow of blood in a heart, and the device can be recycled, has the characteristics of high operationality and high safety in minimally-invasive repair, and has high clinical value.

Device for treating regurgitation of tricuspid and implantation method therefor

A versatile multi-function modular pulse duplicator system having multiple modules each universally and fluidly connected to each other via universal connectors. Each module being detachable from another module and the plurality of modules can be rearranged in different sequence or quantity as the user desires for specifically designed hemodynamic simulations. Some modules have specific functions by having a pump, a compliance chamber, a resistance mechanism, or a fluid reservoir. Optional peripheral modules that simulate anatomical subsystems can be fluidly coupled within this system of modules, allowing studying/training/product demonstration in the subsystem specifically provided, under desired cardiovascular hemodynamics. The use of universal connectors, peripheral modules, and selectively attachable/detachable modules, make this a versatile system where a user can design a simulation according to the specifics needed for product testing, product demonstration, surgical training, teaching and researching.

Modular pulse duplicator system for simulation of cardiovascular hemodynamic functions

A testing system for testing a prosthetic valve. The system includes a housing having a main channel defines a circuitous flow path for a fluid. The solid housing also includes a chamber which in turn includes a piston having an opening at the bottom end. The piston moves in a reciprocating motion within the chamber. Further, a holding mechanism, for holding a prosthetic valve, is positioned within the main channel at either or both sides of the chamber, or within the opening in the piston. A user of the device may selectively control a flow path of the fluid between 1). having the fluid flow through the prosthetic valve installed in the piston, and 2). having no fluid passing though the piston.

Portable multifunction cardiac simulator and heart valve tester

A prosthetic heart valve assembly includes a gasket member and a valve member including a plurality of fasteners and a plurality of engagement members corresponding to the fasteners. The fasteners and/or engagement members may be configured to guide the engagement members into engagement with the fasteners. For example, the fasteners may include U-shaped spring-biased clips, e.g., attached to a core or other portion of a sewing cuff of the gasket member, and the engagement members may include latches or barbed protrusions that engage one or more holes in the fasteners. During use, the gasket member is introduced into a tissue annulus, and secured to the annulus, e.g., using a plurality of clips directed through the sewing cuff. The valve member is then introduced into the annulus and the engagement members are snapped or otherwise guided into engagement with the fasteners to secure the valve member relative to the gasket member.

Two-piece prosthetic valves with snap-in connection and methods for use

A method for making a bioprosthetic heart valve includes providing a non-contact cutting apparatus and a layer of tissue. The non-contact cutting apparatus may include a laser cutting system or high pressure water jet system. A leaflet is cut from the layer of tissue using a predefined template, and a plurality of alignment holes in the leaflet are created in the leaflet, e.g., along a peripheral edge. A support structure is provided having a plurality of alignment holes corresponding to alignment holes in the leaflet. The leaflet is secured to the support structure by securing one or more sutures through corresponding alignment holes in the leaflet and the support structure to provide a leaflet subassembly. A bioprosthetic heart valve is made by securing a set of leaflet subassemblies to a frame.
