According to one embodiment, a monitoring device includes a detector unit including an image transfer element comprising an incident surface which allows light to enter from a light-transmissive base material on which a microbody is placed and an emission surface which emits the light entering from the incident surface, which transfers two-dimensional image data of the microbody to a semiconductor optical sensor, and the semiconductor optical sensor which receives light from the emission surface.

According to one embodiment, an optical sensor is disclosed. The sensor includes a bandpass filter which transmits light in a first wavelength band including a first wavelength, and includes a transmittance distribution of the light in the first wavelength band. The transmittance distribution has a maximal value at the first wavelength. The sensor further includes a notch filter which blocks transmission of light in a second wavelength band including a second wavelength shorter than the first wavelength, and includes a transmittance distribution of light in the second wavelength band. The transmittance distribution has a first minimal value at the second wavelength.

According to one embodiment, a cell sorter includes a flow channel which supplies a sample liquid containing particles, a plurality of branch channels connected to the flow channel, an image sensor which has a pixel region covering the flow channel and the branch channels, a determination unit which determines the characteristics of the particles in the sample liquid from a measurement signal of the pixel region, and a separation unit guides the particles in the sample liquid to any of the branch channels based on the determination result of the determination unit.

According to one embodiment, the illumination device includes a lighting unit and a control unit. The lighting unit emits light at the intensity to be emitted toward the region to be irradiated in a two-dimensional region of a measurement device. The measurement device acquires optical information and biochemical information and/or electrical information for an object corresponding with positional information. The control unit determines the region to be irradiated and the intensity to be emitted, based on the biochemical or electrical information by the measurement device, the positional information of them, and the threshold conditions predetermined, and controls the irradiation of the lighting unit depending on them.

According to one embodiment, a pattern forming method includes forming a resist pattern on a substrate, forming a first silicone resin layer so as to bury the resist pattern on the substrate, pressing a film on the surface of the first silicone resin layer to adhere the film thereto, curing the first silicone resin layer after the adhesion of the film, peeling the film from the first silicone resin layer before or after the curing of the first silicone resin layer, and removing the resist pattern after the peeling of the film.

According to one embodiment, a first oscillator has an oscillation frequency that is changed depending on a temperature. A second oscillator has different temperature characteristics from the first oscillator. An on-chip heater heats the first oscillator and the second oscillator. A counter counts a first oscillation signal of the first oscillator. An ADPLL generates a third oscillation signal on the basis of a second oscillation signal of the second oscillator and corrects the frequency of the third oscillation signal on the basis of a count value of the counter.
